The multiple images for a references is what get me the most in infinite painter than procreate and the how the line feel when you draw in the canvas

Docking color picker is one of my favorite!
I can't tell you how much this is already helping me and I'm only on tip 3. I always hate having to fond each tool one at a time for every image.

I've been using Infinite Painter on/off for a year on my Android tablet. For the most part it's been a good experience. But it's also prone to crashing, buggy sometimes, and lacks solid consistent community/support. The app has so much potential and it's THIS close to being my main art app.
Hopefully your videos help more people discover the app and realize how useful and fun it is so that Infinite Painter can go to the next level. ^^

This is a great video! Can you make a beginner's guide to the app? Like a video just explaining the tools and what they do. All of the videos like this are so old, the one good/recent one is in Spanish 😭😭😭 I just subbed, I hope you keep making videos on this app!

@@joeldesigns am just new to this tool on my Android phone. Is there any tutorial on how to work with phones when paining please? I observed some videos where you zoom in to paint a spot and zoom out on others to see hoe it looks. I really need help because I want to master this app before I get an ipad eventually.

sorry i thought this app was android but just realized you've got it on an iPad..with an apple pencil.....amazing. i also have an ipad and use procreate....but have been struggling to find a comparable art pen for my samsung.
This app is for ipad AND android 😀 I just use an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil 2
I love your videos so much!! I started about a week ago and even though I’ve only made it through 2 tutorials, what I’ve already learned, is insane. The light house tutorial took me 4 days to finally figure out lol but the planet only took 2 days and now I’m moving on to the next one. I’ve made sure to tag you on IG. Great video mate! I use the app on my Galaxy note 20 ultra and for some reason, I cannot do the Dock Tools customization as you show at minute 1:43. Do you know if this function is only limited to tablets?
That would make sense if it is. The smaller screen size probably prevents it ☺️
Decent video, I love infinite painter but I’m really struggling with finding a good brush for shading
My go to is usually the soft airbrush 😀

Hi, is it possible to make it so your work and merged layers can be cut out perfectly with no background, so it can be imported into photoshop and dropped onto a canvas? I've been trying to do this for ages
Yeah you could group your layers, turn off the background and share as a png 😀

Not that I know of, ive tried everything ill check their manual, its really useful 😁
Select the area you want to affect with the selection tool in one of the layers, click on transform and before doing any changes press once on each layer you want to affect, it will mark them with a red square
@@Adrian-uw8gv bingo 👏 go straight to transform on a layer you want to transform, then while the tools active, tap multiple layers you want to transform before you actually transform the layer 😀😀

I will one day when I have spent enough time to understand what would be useful for people.
When you select the transform tool, go to your layers and you will spot there’s a checkbox in the top right corner of each layer’s thumbnail. Check any layers you need and you can edit them at the same time 😀

Hello! I appreciate the content, I'm an advanced user so I already knew all this, what I came here to find out - I own an Android tablet and what bugs me is that every time I start a new project it defaults to his own brush (pencil) and eraser (soft airbrush) is this also the case on an iPad? Is there a way to choose my default starting brush?
I don't think thats a possibility i'm afraid
Whats ur favorite canvas size and dpi and sharpest I tend to see blurs
I always stick around 2000x2000 at 300 dpi 😀

What I like about this and procreate dose not that good at it is the brush engine,
it's very good especially for emulating pencil,
When I tried it once I never went back to procreate.

How do you move/transform am object horizontally along the x axis (like you can in Photoshop by holding shift and dragging)?

i have a question with DPI and RAM. Could it be the reason it crashes or (like myself), can't even open my last project? I'm wondering how can i calculate the right size i should use, and also if we should flat the layers sometimes?
It totally comes down to what your design purpose is. If its just social media for example 1080x1080 is small enough that its great for social media and will not put too much stress on your device. Make sure to always make saves as well hitting the options top right and save. It allows your canvas to recoup memory. Also to recover that canvas hold down on it and try restoring it to a previous auto save. You may loose some of your later changes but atleast you'd get back into it

I don't have a stylus anymore and im on a phone. I own the full version, but i cant press and hold to dock my tools :( what am i doing wrong?
probably nothing, its most likely not available on mobile due to screen real-estate
how do you find the colors you needs for your paintings?
Trial and error most of the time, but I do this a lot so have a gauge as to what I want per design 😀

how do i change brush size quickly?
There’s no shortcut other than tapping the brush size icon or holing down on it and sliding to make the brush bigger or larger
Any tips for the easiest way to eliminate specific color from a png image ?
I’d only imagine the auto selection tool would fit this request
Do I need the paid version to dock tools ? It's not working for me.
Potentially. There’s a lock of restrictions on the free version, most importantly only being allowed 3 layers
The feature's and tools are great that's why it not for free
I have a bunch of lines going across canvas and can't do nothing ... how do you restore settings ? I deleted app and is all good after reinstalled it but man play with tools and can't seem to get out of it, not sure what I pressed nothing was highlighted .. still getting into problems How do you deselect tool ?
Tap its icon that shows top right
@@joeldesigns sometimes on upper left a circle will appear to deselect the tool other than that tapping on icons upper right does nothing , I will be spending a few weeks trying to learn how the tools work and how to get out of tools .

They apply by default to just the layer you are applying it to

How to dock tools I can't do it
You must hold your finger on a tool till it pops out and drag to the top of the screen. Just like in the video 😀

No tips on palm rejection? I regret handing money over for this app. I wanted to love it. Absolutely loathe it. All because that one thing. Sketchbook I have zero issue with my palm leaving streaks like this garbage app. No turning off finger doesn't work.......
No tips unfortunately, from what i've read its been requested a lot but no implementation as of yet

Oh, this bugged me so much, then I tried wearing my old knitted fingerless mitten while drawing. It works for me. There are gloves specifically for drawing, but I didn't want to pay for one. 🤭
@@annabellak.2864 I have a "drawing glove". Still get streaks in painter and I get none sketchbook. So I mostly just use sketchbook now.
