These rare little hoon rockets are amazingly light, have super direct steering and feel like miniature GT cars.

lovely to see the car we sold 23 years ago in the same condition we restored it to.
painted by Bill Blackmore in Modena yellow at Binbrook, trimmed by Harry at Sheffield brake pipes bent by hand by Dad. brilliant camera work, Thankyou for sharing made my day
Thanks. You did a great job! I owned this car myself for 3 or 4 years. It's moved on now and I really regret selling it!
G15 beautiful fun package car. Loved em for years ! Ginetta history. G33 fantastic too !
.That's a beauty...I bought one brand new, ordered it at the 1971 Motor Show, and drove it over the Alps to Greece that summer, unfortunately mostly with coolant pouring everywhere from a blown head gasket, I loved it though!
Now that sounds like an experience!
@@GasoliniASMR Yep, they were my amongst most exciting motoring days!
really well filmed - just excellent just watched it over again -- i know a bit of the feeling - as i own a G20 here stateside , but Like that - and as I said excellent cinematography
Thanks. This is one of the few cars that I wish I hadn't sold. Sweet, sweet car
Restored one, CCF 305L, very similar yellow colour, webesto? Sunroof, no heater! By far the hardest part of the restoration was removing the paint, all three colour changes and repairing and reinforcing the dozens, of gel cracks on the bodywork. Once got 115mph from it down a long decent from a mildly tuned engine, only the once!
Wow, never seen one. Very interesting. Thank you for sharing.
Not at all. Glad it was of interest.
cool shot under the car
waouw, what a fantastic video, placement of cameras, the still shots, framing, sound, editing, choice not to stabilize it ♥
1st the I've seen a video filmed from under the car, that's brilliant!
Glad you liked it!
One correction for you. The rear suspension was indeed directly from the Hilman Imp, but the front suspension was derived from the Triumph Spitfire.
Thanks for the correction!
@@GasoliniASMR It was a much better suspension with a very good turning circle. But there was a problem. The speedo drive on the imp came from the front wheels, on the spitfire it was elsewhere. The lash up to convert to front wheel was a weakness and I had to repair it a couple of times.
lovely little car and subjectively, a lot nicer than the imp. also love the fps approach, the surroundings only add to the feeling.
Agreed!
very cool! great channel too.
Thanks very much. Glad you like it.
As always a nicely made video.
Thanks!
Lovely example ..I worked on a yellow example back in the 1990`s ,i wonder(?)
I can never fathom out how anyone can drive a G15 with standard seats(?).
Nice!
Same colour as the G15 JYD316K I had in the early 1980's. Should never have sold it. Anyone one know if JYD316K is still on the road?
I shouldn't have sold mine either!
Your GINETTA G15 is very beautiful!
please teach me tire size your GINETTA G15 .
Thanks! Unfortunately it is not mine anymore. Tyre size is 145/13 I think.
@@GasoliniASMR Thank you for getting back to me.
I will try that too.
@@youclassic1411 Most use 165/70/13
G20
Is it for sale?
Alas, I sold it a few years ago. There is some regret!
