Loved this painting. Thank you for this great tutorial. I love hydrangeas and cobalt blue and white vases. Such a clean and vintage look.
Thank you!
Had so much fun with this. Wish my hydrangeas looked like these in real life
Gorgeous, blue and white. ❤
Yes, so pretty!
What a fun way to do a hydrangea, thank you Shayda for this tutorial🥰
My pleasure 😊
Your stunning colors, and rendering of the soft to detailed layers of these gorgeous Hydrangeas, as well as Delft or Chinoiserie style vase-all my faves, can’t wait to try this! Thanks Shayda 🩵💙💜
Enjoy!
Hullo Shayda, I am so impressed with your beginner videos! Teaching beginners is so difficult, you truly never know how much a beginner already knows. Most people have some experience with painting, some have more than others. I have had true beginners never painted anything to oil painters wanting to move to watercolor and away from oils and their harsh smells and extended drying times! I believe that you have a wonderful manner and your techniques are truly amazing! If anyone is still having trouble keeping up just hit the pause button! Waiting for your paper to dry is another pause opportunity as well. Thank you for sharing all of your ideas and techniques with your viewers.
Thank you for sharing!
So beautiful!! Your tutorial is explaining very well each of brush strokes that make the pedals come alive. Thank you❤
Thanks :)
10:25 this trick has completely changed the look of the flower! really helpful :)

😍👍 Awesome!! 💠😊 I'm always amazed at your vases, Shayda! I don't know what to love more, if the beautiful hydrangeas or the spectacular porcelain! 😉 Love the background and shadow too. Must try this myself! Thank you!! 🙏 👏👏👏 🤗🥰😘
Have fun with it :)
My comment is about my e course I signed up for a good while back. I have never even found it. Can you check and let me know something that I should do. Help please! Thanks

Lovely, ❤ though not easy to follow since she is moving way too quickly 😔 and the painting dries too quickly. Maybe I succeed with the second attempt but this time I will not follow the tutorial. I guess it will be easier for me.
You can adjust the play speed so that it slows down the video if it is going to fast for you 😊 it’s at the top right side “settings” loos like a wheel ❤ hope that is helpful for you ❤
13:00 minute forward... the leaves (too dark/too distinct) and adding the 'detailing' on the bottom of the vase...that didn't work.
The rest of the video was pretty good.
Beautiful!
