i also have acne prone, oily skin and i dont know what to do. im only 14 and i have the worst acne ever actually its mostly only acne scarring that is so so sooo red and its everywhere because i pick at my skin unintentionally and i dont know why. i really feel so lost because no one else around me has such bad acne so i cover it up with concealer thats non-comedogenic and then im happy with how it looks but i just feel like im lying to everybody i know bcs they see my bumps but they have never seen my real skin. i just wish it would go away and every morning i avoid mirrors. if you're wondering my acne (scars) are all overr my forehead like the entirety of it, the cheeks under my eyes and my chin. someone please help me find products that will work for my skin. i use products that have lessened my acne but the scars just never seem to go away and theres so much of them and they are so so red.
Honestly consult a derma if you can. I don't know how you take your concealer off, could be you're not cleansing really well at night. In addition, change your pillow cases every week, avoid the sun/use an umbrella, avoid sugar as much as you can, drink lots of water and get adequate sleep. Don't buy into reeally cheap and viral skincare that are not FDA-approved. AND ALWAYS USE SUNSCREEN!

@pvctricia im sure i can understand u well enough cause i litarelly have acne prone, oily skin n am the same age as u . Till last month i didnt k what to do about thins acne thing n acnr scars , it was all over my face n i difnt feel great about it cause im one of the only one with these .I used to try different remedies n thing which helped but didnt work well or didnt stay for long. Like from last 3-4 weeks i started using only aloivera gel n ofcouce after every face wash(i tried tons of face wash n finnay foud the one for me) it works really well for me . U can also try it , hope it also works for u ❤

I love your skincare videos! They help me gain motivation in trying to battle my acne. I'm going on a second round of accutane soon and im hoping it works this time. My acne is at its worst right now and since we have similar skin types I've been watching your videos in hope of finding a 'cure' (routine) suitable for me. Just a gentle reminder for anyone that is looking to buy any kind of skincare product, if you do not know your exact skin condition or problem do not go buy products you see on the internet without proper research!!! I personally use the centella ampoule shown in the video it works really well for my acne prone oily to combo skin but I also used the oil cleanser of the same brand and it did not work for me, causing small bumps, redness, acne, etc. Ofc this does not mean that the product isn’t good, my skin just reacts really badly with oil cleansers regardless of the brand. It takes time for any of these products to work, which can take up to months. I wish everyone the best in their skincare journey!
Sorry to rain on everyone's parade. I had mild to moderate acne and nothing worked (Retin A forms/azithro/Spiro/doxy/clindamycin) but it wasn't severe enough for oral retin A. Nadifloxacin topical did help as did glycolic acid face cleanser. Ultimately my hormones settled down and skin became smooth AF body hair became fine, vellous types. It just settled down on its own by 21. It's all about the hormones not what you slather on top of your skin.

The older I get, the worse my acne is😅 it's gonna be 8 years since my acne started. I went to the doctors and got my blood done and my hormones are stable and there isn't anything alarming... I don't understand acne anymore

@@daaaaako5170 I got my liver check and it came out as fine. I already gave up on skincare and have gone on isotretinoin. My skin hasn't been this clear since I was 11

please don’t do this!! only use skincare products that are specifically formulated for facial skin. ingredients in your kitchen and pantry and whatever are unstable and not safe to apply to your facial skin. your facial skin is sensitive and understand there’s a lot of science behind this. cinnamon is super irritating and inflammatory and not good at all to apply to your face. i promise you’re much better off not doing that at all. your skin will thank you. just stick to a simple routine: cleanser, moisturizer, and spf, and your skin will be much happier and healthier
Please don't do it ... specially if you have sensitive , damaged or acne prone skin....it will straight up cause chemical burn

all of these are available on amazon and yesstyle. there’s also other websites like oliveyoung that have korean (and japanese too i think) skincare and if you live in the UK from what i’ve heard the skincare stores there like boots have them :)

Can I use skin1004 Madagascar Probio cica intensive ampoule with Cosrx retinol .01 cream ?
yes! the cica serum can be used both in the AM and PM but the retinol should only be used in the PM. if this is helpful: simple AM routine- water based cleanser (i like the cosrx low ph good morning cleanser), the cica serum, moisturizer (i like the p.calm cato cream moisturizer), spf (i like the biore uv aqua rich spf)
PM routine- oil based cleanser (i like the anua cleansing oil), water based cleanser, cica serum, retinol, moisturizer (or you can apply the moisturizer before retinol if your skin is sensitive to the retinol). also especially make sure to wear and reapply spf daily when using retinol because it makes your skin more susceptible to UV damage/sun damage. hope this helps :)

I think she means to gradually start using it, so do a patch test first (apply the product to a small area of your skin to see how your skin reacts), then use maybe once a week/ once every few days initially, then gradually increase the frequency before you use every day. I hope that helps!

yes! this is a great skincare base to apply makeup on top of. any hydrating skincare is great under makeup. that being said, sometimes certain ingredients in skincare can collide with ingredients in makeup (like for example, if your moisturizer is water- based and your foundation is silicone based and not water based; that type of thing) and cause some lifting in your makeup, but you likely won’t have that issue, especially with this routine since it’s staple and since all of these products are formulated by the same brand and in the same line, they’re formulated properly to work together with no issues. hope this helps :)

Don’t feel like that, really, I get what you’re saying, I have rosacea too, small pimples along with acne scars; sometimes it’s hard to go out without any makeup on, but things like this fade away with time, try to find a skincare routine that helps you with that and focus on the good parts of you, your skin will not always be like this 🫶🏻
