I did this when the album first came out. At that time I was in the final year of my degree and really struggling emotionally. This album really helped me find my peace and do what needed to be done. I love the imagery of this video, the stuff for Horses is especially resonant for me as I'm a bit of a klutz and collect nicks and cuts on my fingers pretty often. I've got two cuts on my thumb right now! I hope many other people can find peace and meaning in Charlotte's work like I did and I'm glad to help in my teeny tiny way.
i cried out "oh my god!!" in the middle of a moderately-crowded grocery store when i found out about this and i'm honestly not sorry. Just an absolute treasure of a talent she is. Can't wait to listen to this in a quiet place with no distractions.

The only thing good of this year
i just have to say that your music got me through a huge pre-transition depression when i was 15 and my sister was deeply suicidally suffering. everytime i started panicking i would listen to sea oleena. i know that sounds weird but.... it was like being in the feathers of a swan... safe and warm and compassionate to my psyche at the time. like an antidote that heals pain from the inside out. im 2 months on hrt now and suffering from panic attacks again and listening to this album is comfort sonarized. the familian swan wings swoop in to find me. thank you sea oleena.

Charlotte's (Sea Oleena) music is begging listeners to slow down from an accelerated existence and see the beauty in nature and your inner journey. It's simply heartbreaking in its quiet urgency. Lines like "look deep and see how the water and the earth have formed a gorgeous mud" aren't fully understood until you've sat with the album and her seance on multiple listens. What a treasure she is. How unbearable it must feel at times to have so much poured into her. Her music will make you a better person, as she is channeling Gaia and the Persophone archetype in a brave attempt to heal herself and the world.
