Did you have a nightmare? I have nightmares too. Someday I'll explain it to you. Why they came... why they won't ever go away.. but I'll tell you how I survive it. I make a list in my head, of all the good things I've seen someone do. Every little thing I can remember. It's like a game. I do it over and over. Gets a little tedious after all these years, but... there are much worse games to play.

I absolutely loved the ending. Nothing grand, nothing spectacular, she didn’t even recover from her ptsd. I think why the hunger games hits different than other dystopian series is that it feels so real. Like this is something that could easily happen in our world today, already happening in some places. A dictator and no one’s lives in their own hands. Katniss never really moved on from what happened. And the last line “But here are much worse games to play” absolutely broke me. Like saying it brought a genuine smile to her face that was also filled with pain and yet she still accepted it. The hunger games might not be the best series out there but it’s definitely one of my favorite because of this. She went through so much and she was never okay, and that’s the reality of it. But she was still able to find her peace one day. I don’t even know how to put it in words, Suzanne Collins really hit the nail on the head with this. I am mesmerized.

I literally just finished reading Mockingjay last night and I’m still in tears. I’ve seen the movie so I already knew what would happen but I still got so emotional and now I’m pretty much just listening to this thinking of Rue, Prim, Maggs, Finnick, Cinna, Madge, And everyone else that died (as well as what happened to Peeta). Mockingjay is definitely one of the most saddest books/movies.

“My kids who don't know they're playing on a graveyard”. I thought of that when Katniss said to her baby that there are much worse games to play, with this heartbreaking music im the background that had me on tears.

Out of context, but I'd really love to see some figure skater or ice dancer to do a program with this music especially the last 4 minutes!

My daughter is 6 months old, I’ve had YETTTT to find a song that calms her down until I played her this. When I tell you she instantly stops crying, I’m being 100% serious. Sucks because it makes me want to sleep lol.

James Newton Howard and Ramin Djawadi are the best soundtracks composers ever. Love them.

“Deep in the Meadow” transports me back to the place where Rue spent her final moments, under the cover of a forest and the arms of her friend. I can still hear the delicate tremble in her voice…when she tearfully asked Katniss:
