BB, one of the things that sets your videos apart from others is your use of close ups. I think that is not only a very cool tool but is very revealing as to the quality, or not, of the parts that go into these knives. As always, appreciate you and your enthusiasm! Happy Easter to all!
Well Beez, you found EXACTLY the work knife I’ve been looking for! I commented on your other video about my work on barges and the need for a very tough but inexpensive knife. (One that might go overboard but not break your heart when it does.) This is that knife! It’s perfect for what I do and I’ll probably get a couple spares since it’s priced like a disposable knife, which our deck knives always are. I really like the thickness of the blade and the simple construction. Most cheaper knives I’ve had, the crappy little spring is the first thing to break. This one doesn’t have that, and the ball bearings are a pleasant surprise on a $25 knife. I’m sure the quality of the blade-steel isn’t great but that doesn’t matter, since we sharpen our knives daily, if not twice daily. That’s just a perfect work knife for our crew. Thanks a million for finding one. I’ll check for a link in the description for ordering one. Thanks again for the great channel. I appreciate your enthusiasm and passion for knives of all qualities. Peace and aloha to you and yours always. 🤙🏼
Hey Beez, As a budget knife guy myself, I’ve been an Eafengrow fan for a bit myself. I think I own two or three myself. That’s a sweet one. I may have to add that to my wish list.
Another great Live at the Hive! I went to sleep afterwards and dreamed I was making a salad and eating a giant marshmallow. I was tossing all night, and when I woke up, my pillow was gone. 🤯
All of the best knives I have in my collection (33 so far), the absolute best, are all under $50. My favorite one of all, was only 27 bucks! Found it on Beez Blades!
I liked your review and it helped me decide to buy an EF928. I enjoy your knife reviews, the great camera work and that you disassemble the knives that you review.
Dammit, I just unsubbed from all the knife channels so I would stop buying knives and youtube suggests this to me. Ugh, well I guess another Eafengrow wouldn't hurt. Great vid!
For the price it would definatly make a great work knife. Great size along with nice contoured handles. Steel bearings are perfectly adequate for a knife in this price range and with multiple deployment options makes it fidget friendly as well. Thanks for the great vid Beez and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
I was laughing when you were putting in the first screw for the pocket clip. I was going wonder when he will notice. Love it you make my day every video you do. Definitely love Friday nights!! Had to leave early. Bummed me out company came over. I was showing them but don’t have a smart tv or we all would of watched. Keep up the grea and awesome job. PLEASE do not change!! Great review Mr Beeze 👍 wow what a big fella you have there ! I'm so important with the budget buys from China these days it's so refreshing to see them doing their own thing and not just copying whats out there , let's hope they can keep it up and finally loose their reputation for bad production and lack of final inspection just popping in a card doesn't mean its been through qc guy's! And what a Friday night 04/15/22 was my first live as it's pretty late for me in the UK but it was worth the effort and ...I will be back ....lol,.....
Thank you Wayne! Eafengrow has been doing a good job with original knives, plus they put out the steel they say they do. Last night at the HIve was so much fun, and it goes by so fast! It was great to have you with us! I love having people from around the world, hanging out and talking about knives! Thank you, brother! I'll see you on the next one!
Thats a fantastic knife, had to pick up a Jade Scale version, and the disassembly was really handy, useful to see how much excess lube was in there, will be cleaning and relubing soon as. :)
Great knife.....the best deal on knives I ever got was an ad in the thirty nickel in the 1990s.....it said old knives for sale for $50....I took a chance and drive to Paris Mississippi. Got there and saw a briefcase of new knives. The elderly lady wanted $50 but I could not steal them. I gave her $500 just looking at the knives I recognized. Got home before the internet days and with books and members of the Mississippi knife makers guild I had about $2900.00 in knives that was 1990s money. I kept them all and take them to shows sometimes and I tell my story.
Oh wow! I love hearing stories like that!! That is awesome! Thank you for sharing! Have a great weekend, and I hope you're getting the sunshine we are getting here in Ohio!!

Here’s a little story about knives since we’re all here for the same reason. You wouldn’t be here if you didn’t love knives, that’s a given. Some of us are knife collectors. I’m guilty of that, and have owned everything from Samurai swords to historic relics with a story behind them, to the cheapest piece of crap knife I just bought in a liquor store because it looked cool. It becomes almost an obsession but a good one. You learn as you go, the difference in quality based on price but sometimes a cheap knife from China will surprise you and be very useable. Now, I have knives that I rarely ever use or don’t use at all. Those are either too expensive or family heirlooms passed down from my grandfather to my dad and then to me. They’ll go to my son when I consider him responsible enough. I’m guessing he’ll be 40 years old when I’m ready to hand them down. (That’s when my father finally saw I had my shit together enough to hand me grandpa’s knives) So those knives are in pristine condition but not worth more than the family history behind them. I have a U.S. Army Kabar fighting knife that my dad carried to Germany and back. That one is still pristine and I’ll never ever use it for anything. Sharp as a razor, lightly oiled, it sits in a shadow box I made for it on the wall. A display. Nobody touches that one but me. It’s special. Now, I’ve had probably hundreds of knives through my 58 years on this planet and some were good, some were crap. Some were strangely in between. I’ve paid $200 bucks for a knife only to find, my $50 dollar one is better. So you never know. Technology advances faster than you can blink, so price doesn’t necessarily mean much anymore. Brand name unfortunately doesn’t either. The Shrade Old-Timer folder was one of the best and highest quality knives for decades. I have one that’s 60 years old. High carbon steel that needed care or it’ll rust to nothing. So, for the newer lazy generation they made the blades in stainless. It’s a piece of crap. That’s fine, nobody in their right mind is going to carry a three-blade folding knife anymore. So now we have assisted opening folders of various quality but that’s subjective. Is it a piece of artwork? Maybe. Are you going to carry it all the time? Maybe. Do you need it for work? DEFINITELY. I’m not sure where you fine people are at in the knife-world but right now for me, my work knife is imperative. It doesn’t need to be, or can’t be expensive, it just has to work. Sometimes I’m hanging from chains on the barges and need to cut a line right now and I have only one hand available. A quick and cheap assisted opener is all I need. The knife that Beez showed in this video is absolutely perfect for my work. I’m getting one. Or two or three. This ain’t no family heirloom, it’s a work knife I’ll probably lose to the ocean gods but I’ll have a back-up. Thanks Beez for addressing something so well with this video.
I saw this on Amazon a while back and thought it looked nice. Has kind of a Ferrum Forge look and that's always a good thing IMO. Like a poor man's Malice. Great video as always!
You know I have a couple of Eafengrow knives myself, the 0436 and 918. And I have no complaints about either of them. Well except maybe the EF on the blade. lol
Agreed! They just need to make a smaller logo, and put it in the corner. No need for a big sign on the blade. They are solid, worker knives! Thank you Laura! Have a great weekend! The sun is shining here!
I can feel your level of excitement on this one. Seems like the more you like a knife the more you stumble over your words? Those that watch all the time can always tell what you are saying any 🤣. Fun video, I think this one will go viral for you
Nice video. Appreciate you explaining everything like we're new because I am. First video except for the live hangout on Friday which was cool. Now I gotta go watch some of your other reviews.
Overall very nice looking knife. Yeah that giant EF is very distracting. That is a beefy work knife. I might order one just to see how tough it is. Thanks for another interesting and entertaining video. Happy Easter everyone, celebrate the risen Christ.
Damn i almost skipped this Knife because i did no realize how big it really is!! Thanks for the Great review and keep it up! Best Regards from Switzerland
You got that right! I love the blade! It is a larger one, for sure. I was wondering what you and some of the ladies would think about such a chonker. (Spare boat anchor maybe😅) Thank you Kim! Have a great weekend!!
It's amazing that it's only $25 and such good quality. That's my kind of knife. My edc is a Cold Steel 4 Max Scout. I like heavy duty. You always do an excellent job.
@@BeezBlades yes it is heavy and duty, but I've always commented that it isn't pointy enough. That effin knife you reviewed is perfectly pointy. I like those effin knives.
Boy O Boy!!! For the money, you definitely can’t go wrong with this knife!! Lately I’ve been very interested in doing mods, upgrades, customizations, etc to my knives!! Maybe sometime you can bring this subject up. I’d really love to hear what the community has to say about it and where they like getting their aftermarket parts (clips, bearings, scales, etc). Thank you Beez for another entertaining and informative video!!!
I like knives this one. Their above the so called gas station knife (less than $10), but are the $60-100 knives. Knives like these are great for the truck. If you lose one the knives you just get new one when can a ford it, It won't hurt your soul like losing one of your Dad's Case knives.
Haven't been swayed into purchasing one of the EF knives, yet, though I have some Sitivien and CH Knives and Ganzos that are just killer for the price. I don't want to. Don't make me. Maybe I need a second job? Just got 3 50-packs of Doodads in from KPL, along with some Simichrome polish and Renaissance micro-crystalline wax, both reasonably priced; now I hear the Beez buzzing in my head as I go through the oiling routines. ;)
I really like the blade shape and I like the weight of the knife. I really don't like the really lightweight knives. I've had lots of expenses the last couple weeks so no knives on my radar probably until the first of the month. I think this one will be my next purchase. I'm very glad that you're still getting 'squirrel' reactions with your knives. Great job once again, Beez!!
For sure a workhorse of a knife. Also an interesting blade shape. Stylish but utilitarian as well. They call these spear shape blades when I think the leaf blades look more like spears.
Diane! Thank you! It is a great size, and I love the blade on this thing! Have a great weekend! I hope you're getting the same sunshine we are getting in SW Ohio!
Morning Beez, sorry I could not be in the live yesterday. This one is a winner!! Size and Price rocks and the blade shape 😍 similar to the Medford Infraction
I have this and some others EF knives. I don't like the sharp edges, on the blade, on the handle... It's cheap, big, heavy, easy to flip. But they need work on the details, could be a awesome knife, but it's jus "OK". I bought because I love the blade shape, remembers the Ferrum forge. Great videos! Regards from Portugal.
25 bucks...that's a deal. ,💥 BTW if inflation wasn't killing me and a 3 grand dental bill, I'd buy you a Bestech Fanga to review. They're Bestech economy line. You deserve one.
I dont really have any budget knives but might have to order some and see how the feel. I only have about 10 knives and my closest to budget are my Cold Steel AD10&15 and a Shieldon Tranchodon. The Shieldon is what got me into looking at higher priced knives. Now I have Medford,ZT,Kizer and Benchmade. Everyday I find another knife I want to get. I really want to get a Herman Sting but have to save for that.
Heya Beez! Great show last night... I think you missed my comment telling you I turned in the keys to the Frieghtliner in Uniontown OH the day before yesterday. I am coming off the road and will be working back home, so no more coast to coast pawnshop knife finds for this guy😒
Lol. I came off the road three years ago and it's the best decision I ever made. I'm logging now and I love it. Not otr money, but pretty close. It's nice being home every day.
@@butchcassidy3373 Yeah, I am actually going to be able to get stuff done on my property. Already have a job lined up at a gravelpit about 12miles from home, driving a 10 wheeler. Home Everynight!!!

Yesss!!! We have Australia in the Hive!!!
Yes sir! I'm putting it on the Topics list for next live! Great idea!
You are welcome, brother! Have a great weekend, my friend!
Looks like a great budget knife!
It checks a lot of boxes, for sure!
Thanks Justing! I appreciate it! Have a great weekend man!
I love the pocket section. Thats a nice thing to see on the video!
Morning beez that is an awesome knife
I like knives this one. Their above the so called gas station knife (less than $10), but are the $60-100 knives. Knives like these are great for the truck. If you lose one the knives you just get new one when can a ford it, It won't hurt your soul like losing one of your Dad's Case knives.
Nice review and happy Easter Brotha!!!!
Haven't been swayed into purchasing one of the EF knives, yet, though I have some Sitivien and CH Knives and Ganzos that are just killer for the price. I don't want to. Don't make me. Maybe I need a second job?
Just got 3 50-packs of Doodads in from KPL, along with some Simichrome polish and Renaissance micro-crystalline wax, both reasonably priced; now I hear the Beez buzzing in my head as I go through the oiling routines. ;)
Like the one in jade so can dye it to another color, but nice work type knife
A great review. I was not aware of this one.
Hey BEEZ
Good looking Knife and no front flipper!!
Tom! There ya go! No front flipper😅. You're welcome😅
That will be hard to beat for the money
i like this knife. looks strong and beefy. cool colors too. nice job beez
Very interesting, SQUIRREL!
really nice hefty blade Happy Easter Beez
That's a Great size knife to carry every day. Love it like , sub long time ago.
Diane! Thank you! It is a great size, and I love the blade on this thing!
Have a great weekend! I hope you're getting the same sunshine we are getting in SW Ohio!
EF .qsp and petrified fish. They all are good budget knives . I like them
It's a work knife for sure. Has the weight.
Absolutely! I love how it feels in-hand!
Morning Beez, sorry I could not be in the live yesterday. This one is a winner!! Size and Price rocks and the blade shape 😍 similar to the Medford Infraction
Morning, brother! That's okay man, I know you hop in if you can! Duuude, the blade on this one is just plain awesome!
Goodmorning ☕️
Love that knife! Its next on my budget knife list!
It's not bad for the price. I'm with you, I really like the blade shape!!!
Portugal is in the Hive!!! That's awesome!!
Ordered
Side profile looks alot like a big civivi odium. The ferrum forge design
It does! The blade shape is what drew my eyes!!
Just got one coming hope this is as good as you made it look
I've seen that one on Amazon. Nice looking knife! Thanks ! 💥👍🏻
Good looking knife and I bet it would be be good for work ✌
Yes, sir! This thing will be a great work knife. I'm using it in the yard today!
@@BeezBlades Hope you have a great day ✌
25 bucks...that's a deal. ,💥
BTW if inflation wasn't killing me and a 3 grand dental bill, I'd buy you a Bestech Fanga to review. They're Bestech economy line. You deserve one.
Got my Penguin today. Very nice!
Another budget knife that is great. For $25 you can't go wrong. This will be a work horse for sure.Kepp a band-aid handy and don't cut yiurself!
Thanks Keving! I WILL keep a band handy, and do my best not to cut myself!!!
Have a great weekend!
Do one of these vs the riffle(civivi). These on my next knife list.
Ooooh, I LIKE the design...I do want better steel though...
Sweet knife. Thanks
You are always welcome, my friend!
Been looking for a new work knife that can skin the insulation off large electrical wire. Looks ideal. Thx for the video!
Hey Beez,I may have to stop watching your videos..lol...I keep wanting to order more knives
helloooooooooo mr beez for 25 i think im going to get one, thank you very much, you seem a little sluggish maybe get 2 monsters today
@@Robertlynschultz heck yeah. My son works in a gravel pit loading and crushing. He really likes it.
Never driven a ten wheeler much. But I've pulled the end dump trailer a good bit. Gotta be careful dumping. Not real hard to flip one over. Lol
@@butchcassidy3373 I have experience with Bobtail dumptrucks... but that was years ago... yeppers they can tippy.😵💫😵💫
I think Beez did catch that comment. I remember him reading it out loud. I hope things work out for you. Happy Easter
I love ef knifes and I hope that I can get one Easter egg hunt went well sorry I couldn't stay to the end on live in the hive
Nice blade shape/👍
Hi Beez, I really enjoyed the Hive last night.
EF is really making some incredible knives at prices that don’t even make sense.
Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend and I hope you and Mrs. Beez have a wonderful Easter. 🐣🐰
