- In this video I introduce AE86 Pro Max drone to you. I'm absolutely beginner with drones and this is my first purchase ... so I'm learning the basics now and share my experiences with you.

I agree with the owner's comment below. The video quality is not good enough. Obviously we can see only the CZcams compressed video, but this looks more like poor quality 720p to me. I don't really care what other cool features it has if it cannot shoot acceptable HD video. This is not good for this price point. Maybe for a $100 drone it would be good VFM.

Yes. I'm absolute beginner and it was easy to control this drone. I suggest to find an open area (park or land) with solid paved place for take-off/landing at your first trial.
I found out that there's 2 versions a 4k and a 8k..I ordered a 8k..

Hello friend, what rating would you give this drone from 0 to 10?
It's difficoult to rate after a trial flight. My first impression is: It's a great beginner drone. Very competetive price and all necessary functions are built in which are important for a beginner (like obstacle avoidance). Easy to handle and fly. The video resolution as promised ... video quality is not bad, but a bit under of my expectations. (Maybe it's a setup issue only.)
I planned to prepare a video where I test all functions ... and also would like to make a comparation video to DJI mini 3 pro ... just I need some time :D.

It looks like a very good drone and I am enjoying your channel. My phone is an Android phone. How do I format the CF card?
I have preformatted cards with exFAT system. Android phones can prepare this.
Good video. I've researched a lot of alternatives to the newer DJI's and this looks like the best bang for your buck. My DJI mini SE was awesome, every time I went out of range with all these tall Florida forests around me I sweated me arse off hoping it would come back and it always did. It was stolen by my roomate who went to jail and lost her job because of it lol and i'm buying a $3500 puppy so I need to save money to make sure he's taken care of, and this seems to be the best alternative monetarily. So buying it right now.
I would half to say this drone is very nice..i have took mine on a few flights now so easy.. the retail varys i bought mine for 307.USD WITH 60% OFF THE FULL PRICE WAS LISTED 779.USD..there are no really good videos of the AE 86 pro max drone and there should be im pretty sure this the step down from Dji drone..same setup controller..this drone can go fast and i mean fast...ive yet to test my quality of drone views it has been very windy even know this drone got wind control im not gonna push it..cant wait ill post my videos when i have time to share
I can agree with you. The video quality of the onboard camera is not the best. The flight parameters are good for me czcams.com/video/5_mYo7HGeNc/video.html ... and it should fly with my 360° camera. The first test is successful, so I will use this during my tour to Sardinia in middle of October.

Hello sir I ordered this drone, and for some reson it keeps trying to crash its self, and is not stabled, can you please help me?
How do you download the images? Can you do it from the drone?
So far I recorded only the transferred video by the phone application. (What you see during flight.)
I didn't try the microSD recording (I had no V30 or better microSD card so far) ... even you can insert a microSD into the drone.
Anyway if you chech my later videos, I attached a Panox V2 panoramic camera to the drone and this camera could make a good quality 360° video.
I think I like your black better than my silver… maybe… 😅… it handles well though

Have you done the distance tests if it actually goes 18 km and the battery really has a range of 48 minutes?
Not yet ... but in my next video I want to check all functions and test the promised parameters. (Flight distance and time also.) I asking your patience ... I need only some time. :)

maybe for range about 30min, you can do it (maybe) in one flight 18km, i was whit dron about 2.5km from rc,....it was full signal.

Thank you for your message. Concerning your question: I don't think this drone uses a Sony sensor. At least it's not advertised with Sony sensor.
Uncle wants to ask how to find a lost drone. I might just have an AE 86 Promax drone. Don't fly too high. Maybe it got caught in a tree or fell. Let's try searching through the XL FLY application in the Fine The Drone section. But all that exists is to map us. Is there any other application to find drones? I tried this function on XL FLY only. First time I could see the drone on the map, but somehow I exited from the application and when I entered again, I couldn't see the drone anymore in Find The Drone function. So based on my memories (remember for direction/distance) I could find the drone after 10-15 minutes searching in a "jungle" :)
How's the battery life? Really can last 47mins?
Theoretically it works over 40 minutes ... practically I never flied longer than 30 minutes, but the battery was on 25%, when returned.

Yes, you are right. As I could see, in case of this drone, no any calibration needed.
Anyway, I made magnetometer and gyroscope calibration ... as it's described in user manual (pressing button on remote and rotate the drone until next beep) ... but I couldn't see no any difference after this calibration ... that's why I'm left this process out from the video.

Hello friend, I noticed that the images from this drone are not very good, I also don't know what image configuration you are using
Yes ... I didn't made any special setup on video, just tried the defaults on video recording with 4K/15fps.
The resolution is OK, but picture quality is not like I expected. During editing works I reduced resolution from 4K to HD ... it can also cause some loss on quality.
Next time I will try to find a better setup ... and use a faster SD card (to increase FPS value).

@@allemsantana1525 Unfortunately this weekend I had not so much time and weather also were not so good for flying. I made few scenes to my next video, but it's not complete yet to edit and publicate.
I could fly in wind (wind speed was around 5m/s). Tried flying time in 3 ways: just in one position (45 min), flying continously (35 min) and flying with 200g additional weight (15 min). The longest distance what I tried was 3500m. After 3500m I called it back (RTH) and landed with 50% used battery ... so I think next time I will try to reach 5000m distance before I call it back.
These tests I made in "mode 1" (low) and the average speed was 7m/s ... next time I would try "mode 2" it's faster.
@@csabatarsoly3731Hmm, I asked because according to the manufacturer this drone flies at a distance of 18,000m or 18km and the battery lasts an average of 45 minutes, from your report you didn't even come close to what the manufacturer says and the battery apparently has a great lifespan of durability that you arrived 35 to 40 min on different flights

Does AE86 promax propeller is replaceable with any other brand propeller. ? I damaged my propeller on first try indoor..😂😂😂
Propellers are replaceable ... and it seems to me the these are compatible with DJI minis.
Advice: if you use it indoor, then don't use the radar (don't connect the flight radar to the top). Obstacle avoidance will not work, but in case of indoor flight it gives wrong instructions to your drone.

@@knight67010I contacted the representative o the production company and they answered the application is made by their subcontractor. During installation the install software can choose the language based on the setup of your phone. As I could see it's working more or less like this ... but some menu options (2) and the speaking language remain chinese. I indicated this problem to them and they promised in next version of their application this will be corrected.
Definitely not 8k, saw this advertised at under £200 and thought if that's 8k I will be cancelling my order for a SJRC 11s 4k pro which also isn't genuiinely 4k, but its own software manipulation gets it close.
Looking at your drones video quality it's not even 2k, your personal camera recording it is much better quality, the blurry images are still pretty decent for a sub £200 drone but there are better options out there and the image stabilisation is dreadful.
Maybe it can be edited to look much better but I won't be cancelling my order for this. Some footage from A.N.Other linked from the SJRC for the difference, Holystone are also pretty decent having watched hour after hour of video to compare a very large number of drones, and so you return yours for a refund if you have the option, you get much better for the same sort of money.
And lets face it DJI are very much king of the market regardless of these half price options, If I had twice the money to burn, that's what I would have bought or maybe with this budget I should have gone for a used model.

Yes, you are right ... anyway, I didn't expected a real 8K camera on this price. After some weeks usage, I see more things which seems as a software manipulation.
Overall, I'm satisfied with this drone ... I purchased it on $157 and it can fly with my Insta360 X3 camera more than 10 minutes. (See my Sardinia videos.)
