Emily was such an underrated character. I still watch the show now.
I've grown up and the show doesn't make much sense to me anymore (since it's aimed at teenagers), but I still love Emily's character to this day. As a bisexual woman, it was very enriching to see Shay Mitchel's character on stage, because I felt like there was nothing wrong with me being attracted to women. And I'm sure your character helped many other LGBT teenagers.

I love how grateful she is, I still would be interested to hear how the actresses feel about all the plot holes and unresolved storylines. It's so unfortunate because PLL had so much potential as a show.

I’m 29 and rewatching these. The show was iconic and I still hold so much love for it. I feel like I visiting with old friends. The show was such a huge part of my teenage years and I can see now looking back how much it influenced and inspired me.

Okay but what about her kissing a 12 year old on set? That show had way too many inappropriate story lines. Besides Spencer and all her sisters boyfriends.
The 12 year old lied about her age (that she’s older) to get the role. And when they realized that she’s 12 it was too late and they couldn’t just change the entire script. They even asked Sasha’s parents if the kiss was okay and Sasha didn’t have a problem with it either.
Also the “inappropriate things” were filmed in 2008-2015. Times were different back then.

She had surgery on her eye lids. She had hooded eye which are very beautiful, and all of a sudden now she has lots of lid space 🤔
