Always great to see a great teacher working with a student. Nice work, Aaron.
You are both right... a magnet "picks up" the vibration of the string and turns it into an electrical signal. A microphone, does the same thing with a diaphragm to vibrate, and the magnet turns that into a signal.
Thanks Nico. Consignment shop. It's Hurley and they make cool stuff. I think Buckle sells their stuff new.
@TheFuriousShovel It's a line 6 varias guitar so they are hidden, but I don't know where for sure. I think they are part of the bridge (there is a little metal plate at the end of the bridge).
3:21 whoa rocking the B.B king licks nice !

Hey Erich, I really like your shirt. Where did you get it?
hey erich that rocked. what is the background music for? is it to keep track of yr 2 beats or something like that?
Nice solos, but there needs to be more pause in between the two guitars
Where are the pickups on that blue guitar? lol
PJAICSG yeah i mean right??
under the top, the middle part is like a pickguard with the pups underneath it
or its really near the bridge i cant see
I'm Serbian so its called a magnet instead of a pickup here :)
I must have mixed them up i didn't even notice it :P
@davejimbobjim *variax
how do you get to solo? is it just learning scales and play what's there? I don't get it...
Marco Tomas that's the great mystery
Learn the minor pentatonic scale and practice it until you can play it up and down with your eyes closed. Then find a 12 bar blues backing track in the key of A and noodle around the A minor pentatonic scale. It'll come to you if you stick with it.
MLG
Where are ur pickups? Lol
In the bridge.
How are you doing Utsav?
e :)
lmao!!! at least he's pretty good so it's ok ha ha!!
Seems rehearsed not improvised
+mike cornelius Improvised!
Your vids have poor sound quality. Why not invest some of your hard-earned cash in a proper microphone setup?
NO offence, but the kid has no feel..unlike the instructor..he's got feel and great style..wish he had a better student.
+Rishi Bhattacharya He has no feel because he isn't making faces, is that what you are getting at?
Nope..he has no feel while improvising..
+Rishi Bhattacharya ....perhaps that is why is taking lessons from the instructor? Wish we had a better commentator.
+someoneelse IMO, the boy should play slow n select his notes rather than playing around the scale and landing on common notes..
+Rishi Bhattacharya That is probably why he is taking lessons.
