Bless your heart friends for allowing yourselves to be used by
Our Father in helping so many come out of mortgage debt...This is written in the middle of the Corona pandemic. Just before the pandemic
I was grateful to be able to make mortgage payments with 15 years to go. Now unemployed due to the pandemic my unemployment is next to nothing. I know in my heart God woke me up and you were the first faces I saw for the first time ever at 6 in the morning. HE told me that I can do this even in the midst of lesser money. I'd like to say I'm excited for a five year plan. Because you said one key sentence "just put an extra $20 towards the Principal. I can do this and I know God will make way for more to make this happen on time or before!

đŸ€đŸ˜ Because of your encouragement & inspirational stories, my hubby & I PAID OFF about SEVEN bills in the last 5 months!! Again I say, you both ARE helping someone & I’m one đŸ™‹đŸœ Though I started off with many medical bills, God blessed me & spared my life. So I can’t complain đŸ™đŸœ I understand when things happen. My transmission was getting worse & leaving me stuck on the job. Last Monday I bought a car. In sticking with “the plan” I bought used, low miles & worked the dealer for a car I CAN afford - not just pmt but I was adamant about the total price đŸ€—We are now working on 3 CC bills & our older car noteđŸ‘đŸœ God bless you & your children.

My husband and I sent the goal of paying off our mortgage in 7 years when we moved in 2 years ago, yesterday! You're right, God does amazing things - we have paid off $100,000 (just principal, I'm not sure the interest at this point) in the past 2 years. Not to mention in that during the past two years, from two modest incomes to just one, had to buy a "new" (read new to us) car, and had a baby. It doesn't make sense at all how we have been able to pay so much in 2 years except to say it's a complete gift from God! Only about $85,000 left to go!

Are yo retiring in 5yrs? Otherwise INVEST the difference! Mortgage is cheap money/good debt and you can't get the extra payments back if needed... Extra payment under $100/mo is fine and helps "buy down" ur effective rate but anything else should be in an individual investment account, when you have enough use it for a down payment on a rental duplex!

You are SO right when you say that God will multiply what you have, even when the math doesn't make sense. I've seen that miracle happen in my life. When you put God first, He blesses you. It's that simple. Our only debt is the mortgage and we're looking at paying it off early. But thank you for the push to set a goal. If we set a goal we will have something to shoot for rather than just continuing to pay a little extra per month. Thank you and God bless!

Most average people think how empty my home is also. Sometimes they'll even tease me about how little I own. I just have the things I use and need. I love order and hate mess. I can have lots of junk everywhere also like most people. But that would just stress me out. I accept the mortgage challenge. I already added $60 to my principle in June. And I have it budgeted over $100 for the July principle.

Vickie Clark I can relate to your comment. I don’t have much in my house either. I remember when I had recently purchased my house people telling me I needed to do SOOO many things to it and not because there was something wrong with it, it’s because our instinct is to remodel and spend the money. But I can careless, I’m not so attach to these type of material things like the huge tv or the fancy dining table.

I'm working on paying my house off in 5 years too. Here's how I've done it so far: Work hard in school & get good grades. Nobody will care how cool you were in high school... Joined the navy doing a job with good career options on the outside. Got a good paying job after 6 years in the navy. Volunteer for any overtime available. Live well below your means. I paid 4k cash for my Saturn SL2 and it's still my daily driver 12 years later. I do all my own repairs on it too. Don't go into debt for anything (except for mortgage obviously). Save a big down payment on a house you can afford. Pay $1000-2000 extra principal a month. I Bought my house 16 months ago, and plan to have it halfway paid off by the end of 2018. It's amazing what you can do when you don't buy stuff you don't need and don't care about what other people think. All this is being done while paying tithe and saving for retirement. Yes, money is tight for hobbies, but it will be worth it in the end.

My GOD i feel so blessed to have come across your channel THIS morning. I needed this TODAY. We're already pretty aggressive with paying off debt, but THIS is just what I needed to SEE, HEAR and RECEIVE at this moment. I'll be on tonight's call and I'm restructuring our budget right now! I already pay more on our mortgage (we hit our 1st year here next month), but I'm definitely changing our goal to pay this house off in 3-5 yrs. We can but we've never thought to. Why not, who knows but we are now! Praise GOD, in Jesus Name, Amen! đŸ™đŸœ

Congratulations! Can you clarify the math for me - at 3% interest you need to pay $5927 per month to complete a $330,000 mortgage. That's $71,124 After tax dollars per year solely to your mortgage with no living expenses. A middle-income three-person household in the USA earns between $45,000 and $135,000 Pre-Tax dollars. I'm very happy for you and truly want to do what you have done, but can you clarify the numbers and not just tell me about good will to multiply income; thank you.

We need to get real and stop following the wolves who want to pull people away from basic, common sense teachings - live simple, pay off your bills as soon as possible, see sacrifice as a blessing that build character. Freedom is being debt free and living in God's grace and sharing with others. May God bless your family abundantly.
