Asalam Alakium, I am only a revert for 2 years, but I often dream at night about praying and hearing a voice instructing me to tell others to pray. I hope and pray that Allah will use me to spread his word and truth, his love and peace. Insha Allah. Ameen.

May Allah reward you. I am a born Muslim Alhamdulillah but sadly not a practicing one. All praise to Allah this Ramadan something happened (I call it change of heart and guidance from the creator subhana wa ta aala), I have become a revert. And find my days spent in the dhikr 📿 and ibaadah of Almighty. Something strange has begun to happen to me though. I am finding where I used to be a dreamless sleeper and a very big fan of the horror genre and not easily spooked. I am now having nightmares of filthy and ambiguous kind and I get shivers and fear of something unseen watching or standing beside me while I perform my salah. This happens each night. Does anyone else experience or have experienced this? I guess it’s shaytaan distracting me and putting waswasah (doubt) in my head??? Could anyone help with some du’as and overcoming this stage. May Allah bless you all and may he be pleased with us. Ameen.
@@rkhan1984 wow Rabia, what you're describing is kind of scary sis. I would suggest you go to a therapist, pref Muslim so you could tell them about it. Not a psychiatrist, because they will just prescribe medicine.
Also sis, I find peace and guidance in sitting still n talking to myself, or listening to myself rather, for couple minutes, one a day at least. It helps. Try it, it might work. Also I'm happy for u that you found guidance. I'm currently trying to motivate myself to pray again... I find it so hardddd

Listening to Mufti Menk lectures - is my daily routine. I think I have learnt so much following his videos. Jazakallah Khayr for all his efforts,....ISLAM is truly such a beautiful religion..i couldn't be prouder today of being MUSLIM....May Allah SWT keep guiding Umaah to be our best.

I am so grateful that listen to him and he is so kind and such a great preacher. He never picks on you but explains how we can better our life. I really get an great vivid imagination of what he is trying to point out. Allhumdulillah i am grateful that Allah the all mighty has put this path in my life. I love telling people about brother Mufti Menk. I always give his examples. Salam have a great life. Insha'Allah we can all learn great things from him.

Assalamu alaikum. Allah swt has granted mufti menk with great knowledge. The way our Mufti Menk approaches to us regarding the topic in his lecture is great. I'm from Bangladesh and in Bangladesh people love him a lot. Mufti menk is a mentor for me because I was an irreligious person . I never read the Quran upto 15 years old. Nor did I ever pray salah before 14 years of age . Through listening to scholars I was motivated . The one who motivated me most is Mufti menk. May Allah Grant him jannah. Now I can read Quran and i am regular in my prayer Alhamdullillah. By listening to his reminders i cried many times.Thank You Mufti Menk for your speeches. I'm grateful to Allah that Allah gave me the taufiq to listen to your lectures. May Allah give Mufti Menk Jannah.

I find Imam's delivery wonderful because, whether one has knowledge on his subject matter, or is a novice with no knowledge to speak of, Imam's explanation contains something for everyone; irrespective of where one is on the journey in Islamic.I love you Brother Imam, Menk. I love you for Allah (SWT). I am an African American Muslim (one who has taken the Shahadah, makes salat, offers the zakat, attend Jummah, and I am a husband and a father - I was raised in a large expanded family where I am one of two Muslims, the other being my father who is 80 years old and took his Shahada approximately 4-5 years ago). This is a blessing, a niyyamah, and a miracle in my very own life. Why me? Why did Allah allow ME to accept His religion, and not others in my family? And, my father - why was his heart opened to Islam, and not others in our family?Only Allah knows.I don't have any words to express my thankfulness for being allowed by Allah to become Muslim. And, I have been studying Arabic for several years and now have a private teacher whom I meet with 1 hour per week).
