I've got an L332 and can totally relate to your selections. All in all I still ADORE it!
While they have their flaws, it doesn't change the fact they are excellent cars
@@BuckleUpShowtotally agree with you plus you get so much car for your money. I'm also not a big fan of all these new cars with their infotainment systems. The newer Range Rovers have lost touch with what a Range Rover is supposed to be.

21mpg? Short journeys only? My 4.4 tdv8 is pretty easy to get over 30mpg.

Why do some people fail to understand that you can not like things about the car you own, while also loving every minute of owning it? It’s not a personal attack 😅
21 mpg is in mixed driving, with some longer distance runs. My commute is quite hilly and on country roads which does not lend itself to efficient driving. On a run I can get 34 mpg no problem 👌
@@CaptChaos1964 As mentioned in the video, I was fully aware of shortcomings such as the fuel economy and size when I went into buying the car. I extensively researched my purchase, and was expecting poor fuel economy and slightly difficult manoeuvrability. It is possible to absolutely love owning a car despite it having some shortcomings - there is no such thing as a perfect vehicle. 😅
“Things I hate about my Range Rover…..anything that went wrong I had to fix”…….. not quite what I was expecting but there you go…..🤣

@@BuckleUpShow haha, I'm considering the same car in my country which happens to have terrible quality diesel. Tonnes of stop and go city driving too. Would love a long term reliability test if you could!
If the fuel quality is poor and your driving is mainly stop-start city traffic, I wouldn't recommend the TDV8.
Mines a 3.6 TDV8 6spd and I get 38 mpg average. So you must have a very heavy right foot 😂
Is that from doing the maths when you fill up or going off the trip computer, JLR ones tend to be rather optimistic

I didn't mention selling the car - I am certainly enjoying it and have no plans to sell up at the moment!
