Hey dude, i am from Brazil and i have a same losi brushless 5ive T but 2.0 version, and i reached 54mph with lipo 8s 8000mah 90c esc toro beast 200a and rocket engine 56112 780kv with stock spur gear and pinion 22
Go down on the spur and you’d be surprised. I’m running 24 pinion and 54 spur and getting 64mph on 8s and 81mph on 12s with a castle 800kv and R snake v12 12s esc. Nice build buddy!!
Cool video of your 5T, 54 mph is fast for a nearly 40 pound 5th scale truck i'm hoping mine will be that fast when i build it and i do think you need the mechanical brake on that truck i will build mine with one.
Bad ass man. I have the same esc but a hobbywing 1100kv, 18t/50t in my dbxle and i hit 70. I need to start recording stuff for CZcams instead of my ig. My stock SBR hit 60mph.
@@RCKnockout i use the dynamite gps. Its the $100 one. And i was using my spektrum smart Dash. It was 1mph faster than the gps so i just go with that the gps said.
Nice pass....but a max5 esc is a great bashing esc not meant for speed running as it will cut power....your best esc for what your doing and the motor you are running is either a xlx2 or a flier esc....xlx2 because the motor is a sensored castle 2028 on 8s, or a flier esc which is capable of of running that motor on 12s constantly. Other than that....great video...and keep making content 👌

@@heavenisalie mine has been very durable. No heat issues at all. If you can build that, do it in sure it’ll be great! I thrash my SBR and the only thing I’ve broken is the shell. Everything else is great!
