Anyone who says RG isn't talented must be blind and deaf. He's hugely talented in any arena, handsome beyond words and a unique asset to Hollywood. I agree he can't sing but that didn't deter from his wonderfully staged performance.

Yes! ....... I saw a bleep on my iPad screen, about him singing with a small pic of him in a pink suit. Since I really like him as a actor, and loved him in La La Land, I thought I would check the clip out. Great! To me he probably maid the show. I saw the clip of Billie Eilish song performance which was not a very good song, and I think she is overrated. They need to bring Dimash Kudaibergen to perform, “When I’ve Got You” in his silver suit that he performed in at his recent Hong Kong concert. Best singer and performer in the world! Also, his music video just released with same song is fabulous. .......I wasn’t in interested in watching the Oscars because I didn’t care to see the movies Barbie or Oppenheimer. The Flower of the August Moon I saw. Good film but not enough to get me to watch the Oscars tonight. I use to always watch the Oscars. Of course, I cut cable out 4 years ago, and wait until it is on You Tube to watch, yet this year not enough movies that I cared about. Thank God they had Ryan Gosling save the night. Not too many good entertainers or singers in US for sometime-- Grammy’s are cheap... gone down hill. At least Oscars was well done with the styling of the dancers with Ryan- good colors. Good taste.
Ryan Gosling and the performers didn't do this for the crowd AT the Oscars, they did it for all the people who loved the movie, who were watching at home, and/or checked it out later. The Academy Awards are a televised show honoring people who make movies, it's a really glitzy version of getting a gold watch. Where it has failed in the past, was being overly preachy navel gazing. This year it was not just a tribute to honor the best in each actagory of film making, it was honestly inclusive for the people who GO to movies. Just like the song says "I'm just Ken", it says we can all be just Ken.

I mean he was on the Mickey Moose Club with Britney Spears, Justine Timberlake, etc. He performed singing and dancing on that when he was a kid.
