- Here is a review of the Chinese CF98 pistol chambered in 9 x19 mm. It is a single action, double action trigger with a Decocker safety. Polymer frame and metal slide. The pistol has rotating barrel mechanism. It's reliable and reasonably accurate pistol. Offers good value for money.

Sir your reviews are extremely good and helpful. I have used cf98. Fired 100 rounds so for. Very accurate and no malfunction. Never jammed. I keep it for my self defense and trust cf98 (new import). I bought it for 75k. Highly recomended handgun but use POF ammo. It will never miss.

Personally, I am the user of CF98. It is impressive & reliable Pistol for self defence & home safety. Will recommend to everyone to choose it without any doubt as it is reliable & as well as economical.
I think people miss the fact cf has inside a rotating lug which makes it low recoil and accurate in its price range.

Sir i would respectfully disagree over your criticism for its finishing,we Pakistanis are good for producing nothing yet we argue as if we compete US or Germany in firearms.CF98 is a military issue handgun and does the job pretty well,i am pretty sure its as reliable as any european firearm.handguns arent some kind of ornaments that one has to wear around its neck.They do what they are intended to do.

Norico is not a marketing company it is an arms manufacturer in China also known as China North Industries group Corporation! CF 98 was never made in polymer and NP42 is an advanced version of CF98 with barrel life of 10k rounds while cf98 barrel life was 8k rounds . In 2009 the two variants which were coming one was original from Norinco and other was made in peshawer ViA Dossal . Now CF 98 new import is a Junk, lot of returned pieces in the market , but please get your facts straight

Gun Talk Sir am not challenging ur knowledge, u r correct abt wiki but i had personally meetings with norinco. Know a bit of inside. U can get all these guns even from china Jing ( Company workin with some shinwari in Pak) only stamp difference.
Norinco is actually a front end company acting like a giant. Whatever the fact is, I would appreciate if anyone can provide broken or cracked pieces of CF98 recent import. This will prevent people from getting duped. Thanks

I am using this pistol since 2010. Fired about 600 rounds. It cannot handle hallow points. No issue with FMJ.
Have Fired S&b hollow points, Works fine with those
Why you use hollow points? Hollow points is to kill... Not for shooting practice.

Norinco marketing ??? Watup bro ? It's the top Chinese arms manufacturer buddy , new import is Garbage, CF98 which was coming with Monograms of horse and eagles were made in kpk the intercom ones. No dude it was popular cus there were no options I remember in 2008 while Tauras and Turkish pistols were for 50k to 55k no one was pissing on CF98, it got popular cus of options which were limited .

Canik TP9 DA around 110k.
Canik TP9 sub elite around 105k.
Not sure about other Chinese pistols

Also Tisas PX9 has manual safety. Which both these guns don't have.

نعمان صاحب۔ سی ایف98بہت اچھا پسٹل ہے۔ ایک بہت خاص بات جو ریویور مس کر جاتے ہیں وہ یہ ہے کہ گلاک کی طرح اس پسٹل میں بھی کوئی بھی پریسڈ پن نہیں ہے۔ نہ فائرنگ پن میں نہ ہی ایکسٹریکٹر میں اور نہ ہی کسی اور پارٹ میں۔ میرے خیال میں یہ بہت ہی خاص فیچر ہوتا ہے کسی بھی گن کا۔ آپ سب بھی اپنی رائے سے آگاہ کیجئے گا
