You have such great ideas! I love this one and the one before. I can't decide which one to make. That's a good thing.
The one you did on this video gave me a great idea..... Instead of putting the "holes in the side of the bowl, drill 3 or 4 holes close together and then file or use a Dremel tool to flatten the bottom of the cut area, then if you want place a piece of pvc - painted the same color as the pot across the bottom.
I did a proto type with a cheap plastic bowl and it worked! So happy! I enjoy making fountain's for our yard. I'm going to make one for my friends who just bought a house. When they saw my fountain, they immediately said I want one. Fountains make me happy, my friends, the birds and the world happy. thank you.

I love these fountains, but what they dont tell you is you have to get to the pump once in a while to clean the filter that's in the pump. So think twice before you make any permanent set up . Just saying

What about water pump sound?
I used aquarium power head which are almost soundless ... so no sound of water pump.
Very nice, however it'd need a direct water source feed in warmer climates as it'd run dry very quickly due to evaporation.
