Heck yes! Can’t wait to get my hands on this! Would be amazing for VR/AR 3D Modeling
This is the kind of product that reconfirms my belief that VR/AR has multiple use cases. I was on the fence with Mixed Reality but now I'm convinced it will be a useful tool rather than a gimmick. I have so many creative ideas from this!
It is, but I don’t think for the Quest 3. If you ever used mixed reality on there it’s quite jarring. It’s more so for allowing you to see through if you’re in a game to not bump into something.
@@alexbraundelacruz9690 I wouldnt say so. they've had multiple updates in the last few months that have made it better, and also all of these examples arent actually using AR, in the sense that in pretty much every AR example where you arent just walking around, youre actually looking at something in vr. when drawing in AR youre still looking at the drawing in vr. meaning its sharpness is VR limited and not AR limited
When I was in school studying 3D geometry, I had very hard time "seeing" these shapes and understanding 3D geometry. I was always wanted something like this to use in school
I've been waiting for something like this for so long. It looks great, can't wait to try.
Fantastic.i was waiting for this since years (since wacom presented a prototype which never came out).
i will definitly buy it
Me too. Credit card is ready!
Awesome!!! Wanna this!
This is what I’ve been waiting for with mixed reality headsets
Amazing, I Will definitlly get one next month
This is really neat, looks very useful
Yeah, agreed.
I'm already drooling in 3D
lol
Yeah, marvellous! 🎉
Amazing!!!
You have my attention, and soon possibly money XD
Use a MX Mechanical and MX Master 3S with Vision Pro (visionOS 2 beta). Would love to get this if it ever gets supported.
YES, Support Apple Vision Pro, ASAP, Logitech! Please.
BRAVO! It makes sense Logitech would make a 3D "mouse" at last
Solildworks, blender working?
Good question
Unless they make a plugin that fundamentally remakes Blender’s default VR functionality, no.
Currently all Blender can do is VR is function as a separate viewer.
Worked w/ vision pro?
How does headset track the pen? Is the relative position between headset and pen stably tracked?
Think it works the same as the controller
Bravo!
instant Buy!
Thanks, finally Logitech realized that VR needs stylus to work in MR. Whiteboarding is one good case for me, as I need a stylus (not controller) to work collaboratively through MR environment.
Would like to hear more technical details about tracking and possibly pairing more pens (I know the store page says only max 1 paired). Interested in using this as a super lightweight controller for some games like Beat Saber
Want to pay $260 (130 + 130) extra to play games like Beat Saber???? Have at it. Not me.
@@TicTac-g7m Yeah because I can afford it comfortably and it's one of my primary hobbies. If you don't want to then don't lol
Please make moreeeeee things for vr like this
Logitech is the best we love you 😍
this is fire
This is a giant leap for spatial computing.
Woohoo! Go GestureVR!
오~ 신기해!
Meta thanks you for your IP. Coming to a patenting office near you.
I hope this means somebody will make a 'VR Cintiq' app
Why is there no Quest Pro support for this, considering even Q2 is supported? Why launch w/o Vermillion VR support?
Wait - there ISN'T Quest Pro support? This is the device made for designers! Hopefully the oversight is corrected, quickly!
@@VJFranzKMeta kinda gave up on the Pro
@@londiebrondie Call me expensively disappointed by that! but I guess we will have to expect it with each device
Concerning the first question, I wonder whar Adam thinks of the newly announced Logitech MX Ink stylus for the Quest 3.
Waiting for it. Damn it do not make it expensive in Türkiye and ship there please
Doesn't say on the product page if it supports the Quest Pro or not. Hmm.
I saw on on some news article that it will support quest pro and quest 2 as well as quest 3
@@JordanMillsTracks Logitech already confirmed to RoadToVR that the Quest Pro is NOT supported.
@@RoboLeader ah yeah just looked it up, you're right
On the website it is mentioned that it will be compatable with v69 , dude we are still trapped in v65!!!
I am confused as hell
did they take it down? It's not on the website anymore. shrug🤷🤷
It comes out in September...
Cool
work with pico?
I thought it was a plunger button
I just want a huge virtual whiteboard
Yeah, infinite and scalable just like some 2D phone apps would be super nice too.
Im actually using logitech controller for my oceangate sub sim vr on my quest 3.. ;-)
와 어떻게 이렇게 정확하죠?
👍🏾
You can already draw with Quest 2 controllers, what's the difference?
Precision
@@VenomVendue
Exactly, and seems more "natural", like holding an actual stylus or paint brush.
This is really a Great step up. Will MX Ink extend to Apple vision pro ?
I need it now!!!!
without back support?
May I ask why?
How do I buy it?
Nevermind found preorder.
1:06 this is how Pixar created "toy story" models before the existence of 3d modeling software 🤯
3D Modeling has existed a long time! But obviously it had to evolve with the tech of the time.
Germany? 🇩🇪🥺
Finally Logictech has made a controller. Congratulations guys.
Looks very confortable...
🍎👁😎 Apple Vision Pro support soon, Please!
Only for Quest?
Беру
Honestly, I hope Logitech make their own Smartphone someday. They deserve.
Take m'y money
Shut up and take my money!!
Anything is better than those awful Quest 3 controllers
3d isekai😂
Looks very painful and frustrating to use. Good luck Logitech.
Another gimmick.
is it though? semes pretty useful its a magic pen it can be anything
It's super tough to work with depth and no physical backing. For 2d visualization it will be awesome. But it's really not changing anything I couldn't do with my controller already.
@@user-dq3xx9xh6p I think you'll be surprised how much more intuitive the stylus is than that big ol control
You may be right actually I haven't tried it. But I don't know, I've spent so much time in designing programs in VR and though cool, refinement and precision is a tall ask with freehand even with a stylus.
Too niche. VR isn't even taking off even with the introduction of affordable headsets. Most people just use them to watch the stuff. lol
