Idk why it's so hard for devs to replicate what they did before , the atmosphere lighting and the stamina from 3 the body damage from 4 and ufc5 graphics and damage system
UFC 2 > UFC 3 > UFC 4 > UFC 5 as opposed to upgrade, they have been downgrading the series with each new title. surprised how come they managed to make it worse every time
Even though they're just little changes, I think now that they've greatly reduced the dmg of spinning elbows, knees are now interceptable with hooks/uppercuts, you can now hit someone with a body uppercut when they slip and you can no longer do the slip straight, overhand makes UFC 5 much better than 4. You dont see any spinning elbow spammers anymore or slip straight overhands in UFC 5.
I’ve always said ufc 4 more fluid and more than ufc 5 and I used to spend hours on it, I can barely play 2 fights on ufc 5 before I switch to another game and idk why 😭
The perk for recovery is showing some crazy work in 4 like Max is losing a good chunk of stamina and then by the beginning of the next round it’s back to full it’s a little crazy not a good realism pry coulda been spamming with that much stamina
I remember back in around 2020s, everyone was trashing UFC 4. now everyone says it was better than UFC 5 hahah :D its not any good, its still trash. but UFC 5 is far worse so, it makes UFC 4 look decent :)

The game where whoever twaddled their sticks faster takes more skill then having to worry about position and submissions in one sounds like you suck at subs and just crying😂 their is skill gap with submissions never seen people tap pry in older games but in 5 if they have a edge they tap him
we're 5 games deep into EA UFC and I stil ldon't feel like these games have anywhere near the cultural staying power or influence of the Undisputed games
also not being able to see opponent's stamina is a very good thing imo. I think there's enough difference in the speed of animations etc that you can feel your opponent gas. Adds another layer to gameplay, you've gotta pay more attention to your opponent than a bar.
UFC 4 was downgraded trash from ufc 3.UFC 5 imo def better then 4 5x still the same somewhat but cmon we got doc stopp and better ground game.UFC undisputed 3 beats all of em thoe which is sad 😂😂

Just go into practice mode and throw a bunch of combos that include the uppercut/body uppercut. It's very easy to get used to imo

The switch to frostbite was done very poorly. They should’ve optimized it. It feels like they forced old code onto a new engine.
