I loved the canals 2.0 part of this complete with weight puzzle and container area to fight in lol.
This mod is basically a remake of Half-Life 2's iconic set pieces in a more compressed form. Like for instance the sandpits and then the coast near Nova Prospekt there is even a little bridge section there. You can call it paying homage if you like.
I agree the strider battle should have been dropped. It wasn't fun fighting them in Half-Life 2 either.
As for playstyle of Bolloxed: Please use gravity gun on manhacks.
Very good mod. I like the toxic swamp well played.
To be honest this mod could have used more work.
No comment on the gameplay, it's just another run-of-the-mill Half-life 2 mod about "Another guy, who magically gets a super rare, scientifically top-grade, million dollar HEV suit and a gravity gun."
The voice acting was mostly okay, could use some more enthusiasm/panic here and there.
I think the enemy numbers and the final sequence could have been tweaked a bit. Realistically, how much soldiers would the combine throw at one, unimportant rebel, who is not even a leader judging from thing.
But the real problem is in the level design. There is a visible difference between the earlier maps and the later ones: It goes from "bland, empty and uninspired" to "more detailed but still uninspired". They could have redone the earlier maps. Also it has elements that are okay as a puzzle for a game, but realistically no human being can cross (thinking here of some of the Rebel escape routes). And there are problems with leading the player, it's not always clear where you have to go, or what you have to do.
Overall I'm glad I watched it instead of playing this, so thank you for the video.

I had forgotten how much I loved this game, and how incredibly scary it could be.
This mod was very good, it felt like a DLC for Episode Two, bringing back the boat level was pretty nice too.

I always compare HL2 mods to this, Mission Improbable, and Minerva: Metastasis.

This is speed run.
Can someone tell us which order the maps come in? Somebody ported this campaign to GMod and the automatic level change script doesn't seem to be working right. Also, the porter forgot to extract the .scene file so none of the NPC cutscenes work. I tried and they just came out as garbage names. EDIT: Found them in the author's GitHub. Was a doozy to find though. Google was being extremely unhelpful, took an hour-and-a-half and now I have a migraine.

Hydriuz Gaming Why is everyone always so vehimiently inflexible when it comes to making things work outside the intended enviroment? Anyway, you're late. I fixed it, figured out the map order, and completed it already. Even spawned the car from R&D in front of the garage to ram aside to add a little continuity after I finished that map pack as well.
