“La Flor de Manila” which is also known as “Sampaguita” was composed in 1879 by a well-known Filipina composer, Dolores Paterno Cuenco. Sampaguita is a flower that describes a symbol of purity and also talks about the love of a woman to her lover who passed away. It is also the National Flower of the Philippines.
Just enjoy and listen to our own interpretation on one of the original Filipino musical composition. Let us continue to support, promote and preserved our own tradition in the music industry. We salute and give all the credits to the composer for her musical contribution to our country.
