Father, brother and I got off a train in Nashville at least 4 decades ago, while there we drove to the park and viewed this locomotive and took a few photos. If you have a heart whenever you see a cold steam locomotive one hopes people will one day bring her back to life. Have machined parts for vintage aircraft though unfortunately never for my main interest which is railroads.

During World War II and also Korean War main motive power for troop trains were 4-6-2s and 4-8-4s but if you were overseas you would ride behind US Army locomotives or engines specific to the country of deployment

I hope that when it returns to traveling the rail lines once again it tours all 48 states here in America. I remember that in 2010 around the Spring time a steam engine train passed through my hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas USA. I hope that it passes through my hometown of Corpus Christi once more. It was announced that a steam engine train passed by. On the way back it passed by on its way back to either Victoria or San Antonio, Texas. That's when I got to see it because it had gone to Kingsville, Texas for a celebration. That's 50 miles South of Corpus Christi, Texas. Those trains are a sight to behold as it was tooting its whistle it was making it's presence known on the rails of Corpus Christi, Texas. From a distance you could hear its chugging noise as people were gathered along the track.
