@@ricobobe how many hot wheels collectors in the world? 5 million 10 million? And when Mattel creations produces at 30,000 of a particular hot wheel, that’s automatically rare
That Mazda 787B STH is seriously my favorite STH at the moment. It’s gonna be insanely hard to get though since I imagine everyone wants to get it as well lmao. If they come out with a STH of the Bugatti bolide, then that’s when I’m gonna be desperate haha…
I try not to look at hot wheels as stocks but now that it has turned into monkey business I open every hot wheel I get as I collect them for personal enjoyment and don’t like being asked to sell off my favorite cars I just buy what I like not trying to speculate the market.
For me, I like collecting things that have value, not to sell it but to admire it. I never sold any of my collection, and the ones I value the most are actually some of the niche cars that people don appreciate. having that not a lot of people have, it makes me feel good. That’s just me, I’m not trying to show off or anything. I just like having rare stuff. I like to think of my collection as a personal museum.
Great video. I always find the r34s to be pricey and hard to find so k usually skip out on them. Also the final run series from the 2000s are also damn expensive
I regret to inform you that you cannot predict how much a hot wheel is going to be in the future. I've been collecting for a long d*** time. And I've seen cars that I thought were going to be valuable that were worthless.
@@oneofusHW65 to be honest, most of these picks are solid contenders. I’ve seen hot wheels I predicted would increase in value and they have. Originally this was titled hot wheels that will retain value. But I changed the title because most of these hot wheels are hard to find or you can’t get them by conventional means of retail. Notice how the title states, 2024. These are. Cars that have increased in value since they were released. So I’m pretty confident most of my picks, (at least the skyline rlc? Ferrari and the Optimus prime) will stay or increase.
I am so glad i got the blue r34 on release. Its a beautiful car, but not worth $500 to buy on ebay. I do regret missing optimus prime, but my project car said "no, i need a timing belt". Also, the fast imports r34s are going for $50?! Holy shit, i did not realize those were worth so much, i have like 3 of em that i got in stores back when they were released.
A lot of collectors are predicting the blue rlc R34 skyline will eventually go up to $1,000. I got mine for $450 Anyway Great video you should make more vids like this one
I think some of the iconic Let's Race! mainlines could go up in the future (GT Scorcher in particular). There's kids growing up with the show today so there might be nostalgia surrounding the line in 10 years' time
I have every single rlc skyline r34 r32.my blue rlc skyline is in the low 1000s number.even my purple rlc skyline r34 is going for 300 which was a membership car not numbered.I even have the pink skyline r34 2 of those 1 of the chrome skyline r32 and the most recent chameleon skyline r34 got two of those.I even have the chase premium liberty walk skyline r34.which has doubled in value going from 300-550

They don't need a Ferrari license to do the Miami Vice Daytona because the car in the TV show was a fake. Only the Testarossa was genuine and supplied by Ferrari North America.
Everyone collect the same cars : japanese /retro / or event etc. If everyone collect similar cars what is considered valuable? 🤣 I think opposite way : I collect those cars what you won't collect. Like birthday caker what the fk is the name. 24/7 etc..
