Kelly Lindquist-Ray's world was shattered when her husband Ian was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2021 while Kelly was pregnant with their seventh child. As they managed Ian's illness, Kelly learned the astonishing story of the Ulma family, a Polish couple and their children who sheltered Jews during World War II and ultimately sacrificed their lives for their neighbors.
Inspired by their story, Kelly found comfort and courage, believing that the Ulmas' intercession gave Ian the grace to live long enough to be present with their seventh child for almost a year.
