  • "My garden is my most beautiful work of art" - Claude Monet
A walk around Claude Monet's house and garden in Giverny France. My wife being a horticulturist loved every minute here. We spent several hours just admirring it and dreaming of bringing this to our home soon.

Monet is my alltime favourite artist. I have never (yet) visited Giverny but I have always been mesmerized by his creation - his own private Eden on Earth. To think that a man had the means, mind and talent to create such an exquisite place to live and work. I marvel at the thought. His life was not without its sorrows - but what a blissful existence he had. I agree - his garden IS his most beautiful work of art!
Thank you for posting this walking tour - it was breathtaking!

I lived near Giverny from 1989 to 2006, we spent many Sundays wandering round his gardens and then enjoying a coffee in the beautiful cafe that was just next door. I don't remember it being quite so packed on our visits, times have changed. This film brought tears to my eyes as it brought back lots of happy memories with my children. I now work as a full time artist and visiting Giverny definitely inspired me. Thank you so much for this video❤

Awesome video, thank you so much for sharing your special trip to Claude Monet's beautiful home and garden. We went there in summer and spring time, and able to see different type of flowers in different seasons. Just wondering, didn't see the beautiful purple wisteria on his famous green bridge (when we went in spring we saw them bloom Beautifully). Just curious when you went there to take the video.
Thks again for sharing them, we really appreciate it.

Of course the gardens are beautiful any season of the year. Thousand thanks to Annenberg Forndation and to France for maintaining this heaven on earth. 👌😊🙏🏼🎈😘👍

why do they took pictures? are they not contented that moment of encounter between their senses and the object? i think the moment we take a picture, it is already gone.

Monet is a genius. Instead of painting directly from nature he grows his own garden to fit his vision, he paints from an artificially grown garden of his own. Sadly, his own intellect can't save him from his cataract.

Beautiful images of the splendid Claude Monet Garden in Giverny. Impressionism celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2024, marking a major turning point in the history of art. This revolutionary artistic movement began with a historic exhibition in April 1874 in Paris. Today, commemorative events are taking place across France, with exhibitions, artwork loans, and various cultural activities. Through a song, I wanted to pay tribute to this Garden, to Claude Monet, and to Impressionist art: czcams.com/video/IcdEBlxy5p0/video.html
