@@GarageGymReviews wish you’d influence rep to use a stainless handle. Nickel is tough but does break down in time. Other than that these are the perfect adjustable dumbbell and a great addition to my garage gym.

$1,299 for a 10-125 lbs range worth of dumbbells is bananas. If you wanted a set that size in individuals it would cost like $7k+ and be a combined weight of a Honda Civic lol.
I initially waited on pulling the trigger after watching one of your earlier videos where you mentioned "tieing up $1,300 for 6 months" as a downside (rightfully).
However, 2 weeks ago just went full send and ordered anyways lol.
These seem like pretty much the pinnacle of adjustable dumbbells right now. Shape, close construction tolerances, weight range, compact overall length, durability, and price... these things are going to be hard to beat for a very long time. It hard to imagine anything about their design that can be significantly improved upon.
The only reason I stuck with my Bowflex adjustables for the past 7 years was because Rep x Pepin didnt happen yet lol.
2024 is a good year for the home gym community.

i have to admit: i was one of those. and the funny thing is, i subscribed and have been watching coop EVER SINCE. he is THE go to for fitness equipment reviews. whether he lifts or not.

Yes. Our EU division is not through distributors, it's REP EU, which means we will eventually have our entire product catalog there. But the most popular products first, including this. Our warehouse will be located in Germany.

Pepin seems like such a cool dude. Virtually the same product, just cheaper for mass market. What an absolute gigachad. I'll be getting a Reppin for sure.
Nice video. The rep x pepin cross product is nice. Rep should put an add on 2x cushions to sell with these dumbbells for allowing the dumbbells to land softly. It will also extend lifetime and assure warranty, too.
And make them 1.25 pounds so that it can act as an “adder weight”. That way only 2.5’s are needed on the inside. Probably best if they were made by abmat.
Really cool dumbbells! I might have to get a pair. I had the 120ib Ironmaster set which is nigh indestructible (I doubt any other adjustable db comes close to their durability) but I hated how long it took to change weight.
I agree, which is why I orded the Reppins. I will sell my Iron Masters.

That's a great video I have the old rexan block 85lbs which I bought over 30 years ago which I love , but I may have to buy these, they seem solid. 120lbs looks amazingly sturdy and strong.

Did it charge your card immediately, or will REP wait to charge you once the dumbbells are shipped? I'm very reluctant to drop 1300 bucks on something I supposedly won't be getting until 5 months from now.

Thanks Coop, you asked both of my questions: custom stand and stainless handles. Gotta say though, I'm still holding out for stainless. Having a plating on the handle makes me feel like I need to be careful with it whereas solid stainless gives a sense of indestructibility.

Yeah, I love my fixed and never thought I'd need anything else, but these are the first adjustables I've ever actually considered buying. I don't even need them, they'd just be nice to have, and that price point is going to be tough to beat.

seeing that long pin in the rep pictures on the site did make me worry about hand clearance. but him addressing it makes me feel better that it'll be a shorter pin and allow for more space.

Love my Ironmasters, they can go heavier. But if these had been out a few years ago I might have got them. Certainly much faster/easier to change weight and 120lbs is great.
When you review them, I would like to know whether or not there is a shift/slide in the weight when you do curls. This happens with the nuobells and if this design fixes it, these would be the ones to go with.
