Hello, I am Adam! I am Head Brewer at Cartridge Brewing outside of Cincinatti, OH. I am a former high school and university educator, and I have been making beer for a living for over a decade. My goal here is to give a behind-the-scenes look into the craft brewing industry, and to share any knowledge I have. I am not the perfect brewer, but I am always pushing myself to get better and to learn more. I have an amazing team behind me, my Assistant Brewer, Maggie, and Josh, our cellarperson and packging lead. Our goal in the brewhouse is to always aim for the bullseye, knowing we will never hit it. That mantra keeps us focused on continual growth, and helps us appreciate the journey of improving as brewers.

I appreciate the carb stone clean and sani process. I bought a used ss uni tank and have been hesitant to use carb stone.

    great vid, thank you!
Quick question. Why do you need a carb stone? Isn’t pressure fermentation in the unitank not sufficient to carbonate? Thx!

Was amazing seeing how much solution came out of the carbonation stone! How much CO2 gas do you guys go through? Do you ever try and capture/harvest CO2 gas generated by fermentation for other uses?

I am unsure of how much we use, we do have a big tank tho. It is my understanding that recapture is expensive tho it would be awesome to do it!

isopropyl alcohol over a stars solution? I am sure for a such a huge tank it wouldn't matter, but what about its use with small batches like 5 gallons for us home brewers?

What are the gas quick connect you use? I’ve tried a few different air line connectors but can never get stainless ones

When purging with co2 do you have a spunding valve on top? Or another way to allow o2 to be pushed out the top?

Also, how much isopropyl do you use in diluted water. Is it 70 or 99% isopropyl?
