Yeah, and although you don't need the software, if you use the software you can get other shades of Blue and other colors as well.

so for gaming, web browsing, doing some usual stuff and more importantly typing (as a translator) do you recommend this keyboard? I don't want to break the bank, LOL

Yeah, cost is great it was only $60 CDN so very budget friendly.

Your not alone, there's a lot of people that don't check out any of the extra features. Myself either a lot of the times.
