Cathy's Cut'N Curl Salon - 1994

I never had one of these, but I guess my main question is, how does the hair get replaced after you cut it?
It's interesting to see that Tyco made this one. I always associated Tyco with RC cars and the like. I didn't know they had doll toy lines too.
