Taeyang is one of the "Kings or Kpop", from the YG group BIG BANG. 2gen Kpop group debuted in 2006. They brought Kpop to the world, before BTS etc....... Lisa trained under Taeyang. She calls him Oppa (means older brother in Korean) You should watch the interview they had. You should watch the clip of this - explain the relationship. BIG BANG have been away from the scene for about 5 years now. Just dropped 1 song last year, Still Life. Won MAMA Best Vocal group........ Taeyang is coming to back to music after military, wife and newborn son. He is a fabulous solo Artist/Superstar also. you should check out some of his Solo MV's and his groups MV's and especially LIVE. Their vocals, rap etc..... so good. His group influenced everything you see in Kpop today. They started so many first in Kpop, including rap and hip hop.

Taeyang AKA SOL AKA The King of Korean R&B from you're favorite kpop groups favorite kpop group BigBang. Bigbang is legendary. Their creative was the blueprint for the 3rd generation groups male and female. Just name one thing that is standard for kpop groups like dying their hair bright colors, lightsticks and having a rapline and it's more than likely BigBang were the first to do it.
