I really hope 704 fixes the bump drafting. When the player and Ai are locked together, they pretty much run the exact same as everyone else around them. I feel that when your locked together you and the Ai should be able to shoot forward. Same goes with 2 Ai cars locked together.
One thing i’d like to see improved, is the AI need to stay locked to you. I’ve had many races where the AI unlock at the worst time possible. I wish just like in real life they can lock bumpers for an entire lap. It would be cool if just like in real life we could run away from the pack in a 2 car draft. For Daytona and Talladega anyway.
I know that if you get someone behind and infront of you. You can fly away from the pack. But yeah i would like them to stay with me even if i do grab the lead.
I have the options problem as well. I'm using a Thrustmaster T300 on Ps4 and can't adjust any controls. It is telling me to press the Ps4 pad button but sadly my wheel does not have that button
I haven’t played a NASCAR game since Inside Line. On PS4 on a controller, settings at Expert, I’m getting a weird auto steer while keeping my stick still in a turn. Consequently, I’m constantly fighting this invisible hand that is pushing my stick more than I want the car to turn Unfortunately my 12yr old T500rs wheel is not compatible. What do I need to adjust?
I have the same problem and am not aware of any button mapped for the PC. I simply have to use one of the other screens such as quick race or test session to reach the options menu. The devs are aware of this issue.

Looking to get heat 5 for my first nascar how do I know what settings to use for the most realistic experience with difficulty, length etc .... Like for Madden I change the settings and sliders to get realistic stats and i win some games and lose some but it's realistic most of the time

When I get spun out or crash there is no caution. If computer crashes flag comes put immediately. The driver assist slows you down and playing on easy makes you slow, but playing on hard makes it so your no good at the game because the ai is too hard. All that being said, can you ever win a race beside the super speedway s which are easiest to run
I can give you instructions. When you're on the home screen, look at the square that says "Race Now." Look at the square below that, it says "Race Modes." Once you click on that, you'll see 4 squares. The square in the bottom left says "Split Screen." Click on that, and there you go, you can play with your daughter now :)

Why? You could've bought Tony Stewart's All-American Racing if you wanted dirt racing. This game is specifically NASCAR, and NASCAR NXT probably won't have the XDT anymore

This game is essentially a reskin of Heat 4, even some of the trophies have Heat 4 logos on them
