Thanks for watching my video. If you liked it then share it around. Happy drumming!
I so appreciate when someone says 'here's a simple exercise' and follows through with a genuinely simple exercise. Thank you! This one should be really helpful. 👍
You are welcome!
Playing open-handed helped me overcome my weaker hand. The so-called weaker hand can perform some things even better because it uses rebound better almost automatically.
I just started drumming self-taught over the last few months, something that helped me was taping masking tape near the top of my left stick to give it a bit more weight because my left hand felt oblivious to the stick, unlike my right which has full consciousness of it because it's my naturally dominant hand.
Also using left for hi-hat to make sure it's getting a lot more practice, which also gives a right hand the tricky job of doing snare patterns while keeping rhythm on the left which is going to further help me down the line
Maybe I'm tapped out, but that medium felt sooo FAST!! Love the exercise. Loving your content keep it up!
I always say to my students...my tempo...your tempo. Do the tempo that you can do and build up to faster speeds
If there is a definition of criminally under rated, it's this channel.
Every video is masterfully produced/taught/played and unbelievably helpful!
Too kind my man.
Couldn’t agree more
Thanks mate 👊
You playing this excercise for 5 minutes would be a great video to play allang to!
Theres a not quite 5 minute video in the course but yeah would be a very helpful practice tool. I'll think about how to incorporate something like that in the future though!
Thanms for watching the video
I was practicing and notice that my left hand was very week, this video came up to me in an great time, thanks a lot!
Awesome mate! Glad to hear it. Make sure you grab the course too for a few more killer exercises
Being a left handed drummer is also hard very awkward lol
That is a whole other kettle of fish! Do you play open handed or on a lefty kit?
In college one of my classmates played open on the hats but then also the ride cymbal to his right so basically switched at will!
Great to see you back here.👌🏽🎶🔥
Thanks 🔥

Definitely a good exercise but the one I posted wears you out a bit more and will build Strength and speed Quicker... Still both are good and this is another great exercise I recommend.
I gave you a sub.
Thanks for the sub
Is this exercise good for a lefty who want’s to be righty?
Absolutely! Just flip the sticking
Add drum or drummer to your title, for peeps who are searching...
