Just found your channel and I am blown away! I've been a mechanic/restorer for over 45 years and have never had anyone teach metal working in such a friendly, easy to understand manner. It's like hanging with your best friend and learning at the same time. I'm 64 years old and am currently working on a truck resto that needs a great deal of metal repair. Your channel is exactly what I need to help me as I am more of a mechanic than fabricator. I have a great deal of respect for you and the knowledge you have. Your personality and presentation skills are over the top! Thank you for sharing your love of metal-working. It's making a difference to your viewers. I have already shared your channel with several friends and we now are all subscribers, calling one another to discuss your videos. Keep up the good work!
See, I knew you’d love the rubber band. Just saved yourself a roll of tape right there 😂 love the videos. So happy this channel has taken off for you!!
Ha ha love it man! This video is the first time I used it! They were so amazing! Thanks again buddy cheers👊👊👊
Good mentoring and shared knowledge from a young man. This channel is as enjoyable, down to earth / laid back as Fitzee's Fabrications. I'm chomping at the bit and can't wait to see you take on the Zephyr
Yeah I love his channel too! Can’t wait to get on the Zephyr
FITZEES !! Def the man , this guy is great , just subscribed
Agreed!!! This channel and Fitzees are the ones that convinced me I COULD take on a rusty project!!!
@@MakeItKustomhow can i make an almost " w" vw decklid into a "w" decklid? How can i send u pics to show u wat i mean?
Excellent beginning tutorial 👍😎👍
Thanks Joel!
this channel deserves to explode. and it will. 100k subscribers coming soon.
Thanks for your support!
Loved the rubber band trick,thanks
You’re welcome!
Thank you brother!
You’re welcome!
Being both an automotive and industrial mechanic but never doing any body work I find you and fitzee to be a wealth of knowledge. And you both have a way of conveying that knowledge in a way that makes it enjoyable and entertaining. If the student hasn't learned...the teacher hasn't taught. This channel is like an autobody encyclopedia except its exciting. I'll definitely be using a lot of your tips and lessons in my own shop as I work on my old 54 pick up. Stay safe. All the best in 2022 and in your future.
I've seen them used before, but I don't think anyone has ever explained it as well as you did and on that last panel, forming it. Wow! Thank you for this.
Great explanation and demonstration man. An expensive wheel is definitely not a necessity, I've done some pretty nice stuff with a $100 piece of junk. I think the issue for most(as it was for me) is overthinking the process. I always tell people that you can only do 4 things to the metal.....cut,bend , shrink and stretch! It makes things easier to digest. Keep up these amazing videos!
Agreed everything is much simpler than it seems
Thanks for the video!
You’re very welcome!
Checking in for a short bit, and you have been " hittin' it " more than ever little brother!!! Solid info for the masses! KUDO'S!
Thanks man cheers!
Excellent...video for a guy if they have never used an English wheel
Thank you!

Dude your doing an awesome job with the explanation and demonstrations. Keep them coming.
Will do thanks Steve!
i just found your channel, thanks for making these videos.
i really like your teaching style, simple concise and encouraging. being able to shape metal is one thing, being able to teach it is a whole other skill set.
You’re so welcome man! Welcome to the channel!
Been watching your videos for a couple of years now. Don't usually comment but I just wanted to thank you for your time, I think you are an excellent teacher. Thanks
Excellent video! Thank you for taking some of the mystery out of "The Wheel"...it would be fun to have access to one, just to experience one first-hand! Enjoy the week! Be safe!
You’re so welcome I’m glad that you enjoyed it!

Getting my first English wheel this week, thank you so much for the tips. Much appreciated
Coolness dude,
I have always wondered how that worked , thank you 🙏🏻
Very welcome thank you for watching! I’m glad that you found some value in it!
Thanks for giving this information out freely im learning to build cars and and these videos are extremely helpful
You’re very welcome and that’s what I’m here for!
Best explanation I've seen on the English Wheel it sure will help me I just picked one up
HUGE THANKS for all videos!!! You have a mad skills!!!
I also learned from Wray that if you come in at a 45 degree angle, the English Wheel will let you right in, rather than having to jam the metal in there or release the pressure first.
Oh wow I must’ve missed that watching his videos! I’ll definitely try that! Thank you
Noooooo! By far the easiest way is to have a finger in the vicinity that you want to start at. I guarantee it will slide right in 100% of the time. Won't even notice any difficulty.... because you will be focused on the ensuing throbbing.
@@ShainAndrews they WILL reach out and grab ya won't they? Tickles too!
@@oliverklozhoff Haven't done it in a really long time. But I can feel it like it just happened. LOL.
That English Wheel frame is a beast!
Bigger is better in this case! Lol
I enjoyed your tips, thanks for taking the time to explain.
Great explanation. Love the video thanks 😊
You’re welcome thanks for your feedback!
Best English Wheel summery I've ever seen. Thank you!!
Great video, my friend as always.
Thank you!
Thanks for taking the time to share your skills !!!
Thanks, you keep it simple and I like that.
I think these videos are awesome, I just don't understand why people would click the dislike. These are good educational tips and tricks and even how to build tools and required equipment.
All of us in this field are on a forever learning path. And knowledge is key.
Maybe some haters that think they are better, well then, make your own "better" videos.
Or people that are not in this field and don't understand the art, skill, time and effort this kind of work involves.
But from me, a big thumbs up for ALL your videos 👍👍👍👍👍
From a total novice in metal work, thank you 😊🙏 brilliant tutorial!! From an English man 😁
I dream of having enough space for an english wheel.
In the meantime.....I will just sit back and enjoy your insight and demonstrations! LOVE the channel!
Thank you enjoyed it. Very well explained.
I've been teaching for forty years. You are a natural. Well done
This was a great video! Thanks for sharing the knowledge!
Very well done. Thanks for your sharing to the world.
Excellent introduction to using the English wheel
You have a great way of explaining what takes place in sheet metal forming. I had historically steered clear of anything involving an English Wheel, or a Bead Roller etc. as it always struck me as some form of sorcery. Now I'm exploring these as options to expand my ability as time, money and space allow... you are still some kind of wizard though!
Great video. Just what I needed to learn thanks👍🏼
👍🏻thanks again for sharing your skills with us!!! Awesome job!!!
You’re most welcome man!
This is quickly becoming one of my favourite channels! Great content man, I’m building an English wheel for sure asap 👌👍
Right on man glad to hear it!
Cool, very interesting. Kudos to Christina for the camera work.
As usual, well explained.
I learned so much from this short video, absolutely the best instructional channel on CZcams.
Great explanation!
Again, great, understandable information and instructions! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for sharing!
Will do thank you so much!
Thanks so much. I'm new to metal shaping and recently bought a cheap English Wheel and videos like this are so helpful. I've done a little practice and tracking for me is uneven and in wrong direction sometimes but I'm sure I'll get over my un-coordination. I find your teaching style so easy to follow. Keep up the good work!😊
Thanks man I appreciate it! Just keep at it!
Exelente trabajo amigo 💯👍💯🇲🇽
Great Video! Love your channel,. Keep up the "How to Vids", thats what people look for.. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for your feedback man I know that’s what I look forward to!
hands down, you have answered so many questions I've thought about and made a case for actually modifying and building my own tools. Keep it up! I feel like neo learning to fly in the matrix!
Hahah man I’m so stoked to hear it 👊👊👊
Many Thanks To You! What an awesome video on the English Wheel... Much appreciated and not only did I subscribe, but I learned a few new tricks too! The "rubber band" is priceless! A+++++
Great job guys 👏
Another Awesome video ! Thank You
I learned a lot. Thanks
Excellent videos!
I've been around engish wheels and planishing hammers most of my life, without ever fully realizing what was actually being done. These demonstrations with explanations are very clear and elucidating, after demonstrating the work, your explanations easily describe what is seen at the end. Thanks!
Again I enjoyed your video , and techniques. Thanks
You’re very welcome thanks for watching
Excellent tutorial video. I appreciate your approach to explaining and demonstration of technique. And Kristina does an awesome job of getting the right video shots of what you just explained.

Glad to hear Dave thank you!
excellent video as always
Very informative once again have never used the English wheel. I really like how you have built your own equipment as well just shows that you don't need fancy stuff to get great results. 👍👍
Thank you! Not only does it save money but I believe that if you build it yourself you somehow understand how to use it better
This video come at a perfect time! I have been watching videos the last few days on English wheels and you must have read my mind on wanting to learn 😂 keep it up Karl 💪
Made this just for you bud!

Learning a lot man. Best channel on CZcams. I’ll be diving into all this soon. Watching your stuff helps. Have to learn somewhere.
Yeah totally! That’s why we started this channel it was so hard to learn the skills I figure why not share!
you sound like a cool boss to work for. Nice workshop
Thank you for your videos, I love to watch them. Hi from Finland. :)
You’re so welcome and I’m glad that you’re enjoying it! Cheers from Canada!
Touching on the fact that the wheel spinning is a good indicator to tighten up while planishing, thats a gold nugget of info. Thank you.
You’re welcome man happy to help!
some of the best vids on the web! dig all your vids. your the man
Ha ha thanks so much man you’re too kind cheers!
@@MakeItKustom i am building a 51 chevy business coupe. mustang 2 ...327 turbo 350.... thanks man fer all the cool vids

Not everybody has deep pockets, you show how to use/improve what we have.
PLEASE keep up the great videos.....
Will do Scott thanks a lot for the feedback!
Thank you , very informative. I am new to channel and already I can see there is a ton of information here that will help me. Thumbs up !
Thanks buddy I love it
Always wondered how a simple concept seemed complicated. Your hands must be like shoe leather! Been there, was like that for half a century, but old age and arthritis makes them soft. Great video!
Dude! Can’t say enough how much I appreciate the way you explain stuff. Older guy here only started with car fabrication about 5 years ago. Pushing the skills I’m willing to try a little bit with each project. I did a complete 68 Chevelle on BuildAnother68Chevelle and now doing what I hope is a fun track car on BuildAnotherRaceCar. Both here on CZcams
Thanks again for your willingness to share what you do.
Awesome video, simple and informative. You and Lazze are the best , some of the other guys are really good but they have also found the cure for insomnia.
Thanks for the answer about the profile tools.
You’re most welcome man! I’m glad the content is well received thanks for the feedback!
In all the videos out there I'd say yours is top it's very informative and in layman's terms . So many try to explain too much in one go even the basics of how to push the metal . As you explained you don't need the most expensive on the market to do a good job many thanks for sharing .
You’re most welcome Gary. I appreciate you! Stoked you dig the style we present
Really helpful. You have inspired me to start working on my Model T again. Thank you.
Awesome so glad to hear it!
Thanks for the great info thinking of getting one
I am at base level, just started trying to tune up the Maddox body and fender kit. Also stopped by a yard sale and bought all the big hand files that felt good in my hand to make some slappers. When the seller asked why I wanted that mix of files he mentioned he has some old professional body tools and gave me his phone number. Basically what I have learned from you has been enough to impress a retired metal shaper into selling me his old tools. Much love brothers
Wow man that’s great! Lucky score. Those old tools are hard to come by. Glad you are getting into it!
I don’t usually comment videos but you and other young people give me great hope for the future. We have local 30ish guys becoming master woodworkers, machinists and metal artists. I love watching a good presenter and craftsman!
Thanks a lot John it means a lot! Go to keep these crafts alive! Cheers
I cant wait to get back into the shop and use some of the knowledge I have gained from your videos. Keep up the amazing work and the very informative videos friend! Stay safe. Best of wishes to you from Rock Bottom Wyoming.
Thank you so much Steve I appreciate it! Best wishes to you too cheers!
