Unfortunately, I have "hammer thumbs" which makes it very difficult to find the correct size in tips. Also, artificial nails tend to make them appear even wider. Can you please do a video on how to properly do them so they will look more narrow? What's the best shape for them because square is definitely the worst. I would really appreciate it.
@@tuttyfatHey hon, nail tech here! Anastasia has posted quite a few videos already about how to make wide nails appear more narrow. Just use the applicable search terms and her channel name and you should find those with no problem! Basically, the best shapes are going to be almond, stiletto and coffin for you. In addition, full cover tips are not going to be the best option for you. Getting sculpted nails enables your tech to pinch the nail, which helps TREMENDOUSLY with the appearance of wide nails! But, if you want to go with tips, the shapes I already mentioned will be your best bet. That being said, the way to really minimize that width is having your nails sculpted into almond, stiletto or coffin and having your tech either pinch the form or pinch the nails themselves, if your nail beds are healthy and can handle pinching. A good tech IRL will be able to give you an amazing transformation. I really hope this helps, good luck!❤ And P.S. I know that good techs can be a little tricky to find. Utilize instagram and be willing to pay for quality, as cheaping out on nails is not something I would recommend if you are going to have someone pinch them. That can be risky if your tech isn't well versed, responsible and attentive.❤

I have press one with a darkish colour. I tried using gel and curing one (onto practice nail) and it seems secure. I’m hoping it will work in real life! I don’t really like nail glue. I love how yours turned out. So elegant.

Great video! I love the shape of these tips and especially that they cure fully. I'd love to see a video of how you apply forms on your own nails with a straight hyponychium because I can never seem to do that with my nails.

I did a test with tips from them using a nail form and I had uncured gel in the middle 😭
What wattage lamp are you using to get them to cure?

I have been using solid and semi solid gel for long time and yes it works even with dark colors
I apply using gel base coat. When ready to remove after 2 weeks should be able to pry up and off. Soak in water water if need to loosen. You wont need to cut file or acetone at all. Try it its my method for 5 yrs now.

would you make a whole video about your reasoning for always cutting down the natural nail for adding an extension. Its it anyway possible to maintain healthy long nails under the enhancements, or is it always healthier to shorten them first?
I think long natural nails under nail tips are very obvious and normally not a good look for most people.Otherwise we would just do gel overlay on the long natural nail.
I have two styles of these tips and I love them! They look so good. Still struggling to keep nails on more than a few days, though. Also, has anyone had their solid glue gels turn rubbery and peel off under their extensions? I can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong or if that's how it's supposed to be.

Are these nails or other nails from BTArtbox good for flat nailbeds? If so, how can I attach them?
@DragonLuver44 I saw your comment and thought I would share my experience with BTartbox. They are amazing and completely worth the extra cost! I have really flat nailbeds myself and I have no problem with their square or oval shaped tips. I tend to stay away from coffin shaped as they typically have too much of a C-curve to work with my nails.

I wondered if these specific tips would soak off as it appears they use MMA in their products which is banned in North America for the beauty industry.
MMA is banned to use in liquid substance , i.e. for acrylic monomer . It’s safe to use it when it’s solid , you can find it in acrylic powders and many other products

I didn't use it since I wanted to soak them off.
Yes, You can use primer for additional adhesion, but in this case it will be harder to soak them off.
does that mean just this brand has a good gel nail glue that will cure with already painted tips?? or will this type of method work with any gel glue and painted tip?
I'm not sure about any painted tip, this technology is more about the tips - even though they have color, the material still allows UV light to penetrate through it.
