I’ve watched hundreds of movie reactors and maybe a thousand reviews and I’m still surprised from time to time…and you surprised me with a connection, an observation I never heard before. Thank you.
They made one big mistake. They should have used the device in the General's office while holding him hostage, and then, after the visions, they could just "reset" out of there.
That was a great review. Your reaction with Cage saying “holy fuck” was priceless. Always wondered how they captured him saying that, because it was brilliant.
First time i watched this movie it caught me by surprise when he 'died' and then there are a lot of funny/ridiculous ways of dying that made it hilarious and a fantastic action movie. Emily Blunt did amazing as well. Great movie. Great reaction vid Evie, have a great weekend.
A question many have is about the ending, Why did Cage reset to the day he arrived for the meeting with the general? Answer I found online is this; The loop reboots in a 24 hour span to the past. All the previous times Cage dies it's the a day "after" he was sent to the base, during the battle. The last reboot was from the morning he is sent to the base, a few hours after he meets Rita. So he is back to earlier in the morning when he first landed in London. Cage was able to reset the final time due to getting covered in the blue blood a split second before the Omega is completely dead. Best theory I've seen that explains the ending.
It's simple really. An alpha's death triggers an automatic response to restart a set amount of time. But the Omega can turn time any amount it wants, it just isn't conscious. So when Cage became the Omega, he just reset to the morning he arrived but before he met with the general.
@@rollotomassi6232 IMO it doesn't make sense, though. He wakes up the exact same second every time, but there's no way he lives exactly as many seconds every single time. If it's resets 24 hours into the past, he wouldn't reset to the same point even once.
@@exscape You're missing it, think Groundhog Day. Phil wakes up everyday the same time in the morning no matter when he dies or even when he just goes to sleep. Same with Cage, it doesn't reset 24hours, it resets "up to 24 hours". At the end Cages has lost his ability to reset that time span, he is out of the loop early, before the battle. When the Omega's blood seeps into him he goes back 24 hours from that point which is when he arrived to meet with the General.
Evie! I really like the way you watch the movie. I can see all your reactions, but you don't talk over the movie as much as some reactors. Very enjoyable!
I enjoyed this reaction ty. The Devil Wear's Prada Emily Blunt doesn't need to worry about fitting in that size two dress if she could only see herself in this movie. With all of the hollywood drama today I think this movie is refreshing to watch. We get to see both a guy and a girl playing the main character and they both connect by working together by the end of it.
The time he went under the truck and got squashed was the only time they went beyond his death, the sergeant talked. He did not wake up immediately. This suggests that he is on a different timeline, not a repeated timeline. Meaning those he left behind continued on with their timeline.
Rita " is there something on my face soldier ". Evie " beauty ". lol. The thing I've always thought about is, if Cage can still reset the day. Does that mean when he dies, will he live the last 24 hours of his life forever. Or since the Omega is dead can he set it back only once.
Great Sci Fi Action Adventure Film! I wish they had made a sequel to the movie, but its not going to happen due to the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Great movie. Other great time travel movies are The Butterfly Effect 2004 and Frequency 2000. Also another great Tom Cruise movie which is not reacted at all is the first Jack Reacher movie.
@@mikeymike1843 It is based a great series of over 30 books of Jack Reacher which just as great. The second Tom Cruise Jack Reacher movie sucks but the first one is a masterpiece. Jack Reacher also has a great Amazon series named Reacher (Not with Tom Cruise) that had a great first season just got a second season.
How the heck does Bill Paxton make his way into so many incredibly great movies? Do they bring him in as a lucky rabbit's foot or something? IMO, this is Tom Cruise's best scifi movie, but pretty much all of his scifi is very good. (BTW, if you have played a video game where saving is important, you save after you do anything important that's difficult to repeat. So after the injection, he should have shot himself.)
Luv Emily Blunt! Everyone of her characters is played to perfection.
I feel like she's so good that she gets taken for granted but wow can that woman act.
5 year engagement is great
"Do I have something on my face?" Beauty? 🤣

@@SonicMegaKing I like my explanation better.😜

Hey thank you!! :)
same what i was thinking!
Groundhog Day on steroids, the female leads in both movies are named "Rita" (probably a nod to Groundhog Day). Endings don't get better than this.
You should read the manga this is actually based off. Live die repeat
Oh dip two of my more favorite movies. Never realized
I highly recommend the movie "Source Code"!
The "Edge of Tomorrow" and it have very similar time loops films and are equally entertaining!

Good point! they were both badasses!!
Fun movie, I just wished they had kept the original ending from the source manga All You Need Is Kill. It's a short read and worth checking out.

Nah, I guess they didn't cut the scene just to have the general's comedic timing
@@futrecacaoAnd he probably didn't die immediately.
I loved this movie!!!!!!
Emily Blunt doing a push up is... surprisingly effective.

10:00 The horrified look on your face is awesome.
Hi Evie!😊 This film was very well made with action and repetitive scenes. Great reactions to this well acted and executed film, Evie!!!🎬👏👏👏👏
Wow can’t believe you haven’t done a reaction on this movie. It’s going to be a popular one
At the end he got the blood of the Alpha in/on him when it died. Now He has the ability to change the day like it had.
your little dance to the beeping machine at 28:53 😄
woah wait a minute....... that's cool !!

It doesn't need a sequel it's fine as is.
@@SonicMegaKingi agree
Your face on the first rewind 😂😂😂
every time i see this, i remember how awesome it is. great reaction. kind of hard to not like it
RIP Bill Paxton
Tom cruise version of "Groundhog Days "😅😅😅...great reactions evie
Love the fifa15 music at the end.. brings back good memories, back when fifa was good and life was easy.
Such a great movie!

Yeah! Jack Reacher a movie of his that seems to slip under the radar. I happened to come across it on netflix by accident last year. liked it a lot.

This is actually based of a manga
How does one know when they lost the power?
First, he knew he had been given a blood transfusion. Rita had told him that's what made her loose it. Second, he said he could feel it.

OMG I finally googled him and he's the guy from Titanic lol THAT'S where I know him from mostly
You are so close to being very good and then…great.
