That's how the first Records I owned and was hooked on were the first 3 KISS Records . So awesome !! And somehow , I have no idea how , I was smart enough to search the back of the Album Covers for the Production Dates so I could listen to the Albums in order . This was totally new to me cuz all I had heard till now was my Alcoholic Stepdad play his old Hank Williams and Johnny Cash Records . But I will say this I've been a Professional Musician/Guitarist since I was 23 years old . What got me hooked and instantly made me decide to be a Guitarist was when I listened to those 3 KISS RECORDS and I heard Rock Bottom for the first time . The slow picking part in the beginning was Magic to me . With Ace as my motivation , I had a beat up old Acoustic Guitar within a couple of months . Dam it took so long to find a part time job to pay for Lessons . But Mom said I better not drop out of School cuz of a dam Electric Guitar . Man I'm really sorry . I think, and this is just my opinion, what would have been better than avatars would have been to hold a contest like American Idol to replace them with actual people. I think, and this is just my opinion, what would have been better than avatars would have been to hold a contest like American Idol to replace them with actual people. They could have capitalized on it several different ways. A season long show with an actual band at the end. I think the avatars are going to be an ELDER meets The Phantom of the park sized mistake.

The “new era” actually has been going on since after the Farewell Tour in 2000. After seeing them in Detroit, in 2000, that was it for me. Haven’t given a single dime since. Good luck with the cartoons though.
In 2 years, Kiss will announce another farewell tour with Vinnie Vincent and Bruce Kulick.
Well one would think Vinnie would have fully 'transitioned' by then.
Those that seriously think Stanley ands Gene are 'hanging it up' be aware - the number of times Stanley has said "this is it" are too many to count.
I could be wrong, but the history + facts + odds are imo pretty decent.

I want them to make a full movie. We never really got to see the characters in action outside a few comic books. They need a full movie or TV series.
