      Potentially, but the problem is that if you've been using Ruxa's redirection ability a lot, the opponent's likely to have lots of blockers piled up, and Trample and Infect would turn off Ruxa, meaning they'd be able to block again.

    @DaveyDAKFAE Před 3 lety

    Kenrith's transformation and Lignify are on-theme for this deck, but don't have any special synergy. Nullhide Ferox can turn into vanilla at will, so that's interesting. However, there are some 'sprinkles' anthems that don't technically give any abilities to the creatures, like Dense Foliage effectively giving Shroud but not actually giving abilities, Bower Passage giving evasion without giving abilities, convoke spells making your creatures sort of tap for mana without abilities, Dolmen Gate combined with Ruxa makes them truly unblockable, Quest for Renewal gives virtual vigilance, Great Henge gives virtual ETBs, and I'm sure I missed a couple more

    what about night soil? pay 1 generic mana to remove 1 card in any graveyard from the game and the owner of the enchantment creates a 1/1. is solid graveyard hate, great for picking out combo pieces in enemys graveyards. and the enchantment itself costs like 2 green

    Ok bear with me on this one if I saw this commander across the table Id bearly be able to play on one hand if I lose that would be just embearassing and on the polar side of things if I win I don’t think I’d even be happy because Id probably just have to do the bear minimum this commander is an interesting concept fur sure anyways I’ve kept the video paws’d for too long see ya.

    I literally just built a ruxa deck tonight and play tested it in my playgroup and let me say this: ruxa is a HIGHLY underestimated commander just because he likes vinilla and they kinda laugh at him till they are getting hit in the face directly by 30/30 minions for game 🤣

    Not amazing as a bear tribal commander since so many bears have abilities. But as part of the 99, works great with grizzly fate ayulas influence, caller of the claw etc

    Shocked to not see Phyrexian Processor as a suggested card. Makes the chonkiest vanilla tokens and green has plenty of options for healing off the life loss.

    I think knowing when to play your commander in this deck is very key. Without it you just have some beefy boys easily chump blocked, but once you get out your commander out your board now looks much scarier.

    How does the damage assign if the creature is blocked? Does the attacking creature still take damage but the blocker doesn't since it is redirected to the player?

    So how would this work with luminous broodmoth? Does having a flying counter turn this off or does the fact that its a counter and not just giving a creature an ability mean that it still works?

    • @Veelofar
      @Veelofar Před 3 lety

      The Ability Counters give the creature they're on the ability, and so would make them no longer vanilla.
