The swipes, the tracking shots, the radio chatter. How is it that something that last less than 5 min have more emotional weight than the Rise of Palpatine? What gave it that weight? the fact that you don't know if the characters are going to make it, this exemplifies the danger and the ultimate outcome of being a rebel. There was a high certainty that you were not going to make it. I cared more about this captain than I did about Poe cause Poe was written poorly. Great video, great short story, nice work.

This is extremely well done and you should take much satisfaction in that. I found myself wondering if the pilots and imperials were CG or actual actors at points, going with "that obviously CG" to "wait a moment that looks a little too real". That's honestly pretty damn scary. It became more obvious at the tail end of the conversation with Captain Needa in their movement and "presence" for lack of a better word. It's honestly hard to describe in words as I can see it but I do not know exactly how to express how it feels off. Still though this was fantastic.
Excellent animation SkyForge. My only criticism would be that those Rebel Transports would probably survive much more than a few hits from a Tie Fighter. They had fairly strong shielding after all, about 5x that of an X-Wing.
Total perfection. You people just managed to pack more Star Wars into four and half minutes of animated film, than the entire sequel trilogy. Bravo guys. MTFBY!
I don't get how some random youtuber can just make Star Wars videos that are a million times better than anything Disney and their billion$ can make over the last decade.
Another video that makes me wonder why Disney can't make a normal SW film. A big compliment for this work👍
They're too corporate to ever make art again.
Managed to make the empire feel competent and scary, something disney seems to struggle with really hard.
Filoni especially has a very hard time doing this.
Still better than Disney
Guaranteed.
singlehandedly more true to the franchise than anything Disney's put out, and quality surpasses over 80% of said disney-hosted content.
_good shit._
Derra IV. What a tragedy. Clear skies Commander Narra.
Disney should take note, star fighter action is what Star Wars is about. Good job!
Excellent animation SkyForge. My only criticism would be that those Rebel Transports would probably survive much more than a few hits from a Tie Fighter. They had fairly strong shielding after all, about 5x that of an X-Wing.
I love these little extra flavour shorts for the OT. Excellent work!
Those four minutes are truly deserving of the word ... EPIC.
few things more terrifying than an organised foe able to lay effective traps.
It's good to see the Empire get a small W and be portrayed as competent.
Whoever made this video, it’s Amazing. Very well edited.
Ikr....and no Ewoks
I remember listening to this as a kid, and it always struck hard me near the end of the battle with the desperation in the voice of Commander Nara.
Total perfection. You people just managed to pack more Star Wars into four and half minutes of animated film, than the entire sequel trilogy. Bravo guys.
I wish Disney had put creatives types like yourselves, in charge. People with true passion and genuine respect for the subject matter. Instead we got pompous hacks more concerned with their twitter feed and political ideology, and a guy with a creepy obsession with wolves.
If only.
