Is it only the outer lens, changed or the whole camera module? How could outer lens be reason for this cracking sound..I wonder!

No, the outer glass was cracked, probably allowing debris to enter the camera module ruining the stabilization mechanism, hence the noise

I bought a fix kit on Amazon but the bezel sticks out and the camera still whines and gets shakey and weird still but only zooming past 3x. I really had hoped I would have to take my phone apart to fix the issue. Damn. Ty though
