She has has such a beautiful lower register voice! She is one of the few singers we have who does not rely on vocal "special effects" to try enhance the song in any way. Love how she rocks out to this and shows another potential for this song. Great review!

I love her performance here in this song, I may have heard this more than 20x time in recent weeks or since i came across Miley's resurgence into her new self! You should look at her performance at the BottleRock when she sung Maybe, a Janis Joplin cover

I feel like the guy who knows nothing about fishing but I keep catching the biggest fish than anyone else. I've watched a couple of vocal coach's react to this and Miley sounds almost bad and limited to a deep voice since her surgery but she sounds great to the vocal coach's. I love her vibrato but when she raises her voice she sounds flat and it's even worse when she sings Rebel Yell with Billy Idol.
Thanks for the feedback. I have not listened to Rebel Yell yet. I thought her voice worked for the tune. But I am listening to how her voice works in the song. I have no heard her other works so I cannot share my thoughts on it.

@@brentthompson1607 sorry I missed it. Maybe through time after the surgery she will eventually regain everything she lost
@@Calers-gu1ib it didn't seem like she lost much. When you see the halftime show, you can notice that she is able to go in and out of her vocal rasp. In fact, she can hit higher notes than she could've in 2018/2019

she destroyed her vocal cords, understandable so
She actually just had surgery recently and classical training, her technique is the healthiest it’s ever been and getting better. She said Disney didn’t care if they blew her voice out or not, they would just move on to another child performer but she’s started taking steps to make sure she has her voice for many more years. The raspiness sets her apart from everyone, like Bob Ross said a happy accident 😊
