The Battle was won by The High King Of Ireland: Brian Boru.
Re-enactment was in St. Annes Park, Dublin 5.

You never see something like that here in Canada. Officials would be up in the blinds screaming fault demanding protection. So we would have a representation of a battle with hockey helmets and goalie pads and wooden Sticks, plastic axes and swords. It just wouldn't be the same without a bunch of crazy Irishman from the Homeland. Don't get me wrong there's lots of Irishman in Canada but they're all civilized now.lol!
