I hear so much of Bobby "Blue" Blands band playing behind Davis on this cut. Listen to "Sunday Morning Love". I believe Bobby did a bunch of recording for Duke at that time, so it would make sense that the sound is similar.
Hugh Cameron the original version of "I can't quit you" didn't have this turnaround, that was on Cobra records I believe. The version Otis did later on, Vanguard Records used it so yea ....
