Kat and her bookshelves always bring me joy. I love how coming back to Booktube after 5 years or so and Kat is still here makes me feel comfortable and nostalgic😂

ooh. The ember in the ashes quartet with matching covers. Looks beautiful. There's something so satisfying about matching covers. I totally get why you want to have a sky beyond the storm in paperback :P
I just re-read the first 3 books in the Ember quartet in preparation for Sky and I was SOOOOO glad I did. It was such a fun experience. Sabaa is a mastermind.

lol asmr doesn't really affect me so i wouldn't know what i'm doing!! but maybe some kind of podcast?? maybe i'll just read public domain books aloud or something lol.......

i'm less stranded in "development hell" and more stuck in "publishing purgatory" .......aka, i'm querying and trying to find agent XD but i've been working on other stuff in the meantime, so i'll share a writing update soon!

AH, I really wanted to join y'all for Cemetery Boys and I'm v sad I didn't! 2020 really went and FCKED MY SH!T UP (TM) with reading sooooooooooo lol XD. And YES, I am super with you on The Ember in the Ashes Quartet and Beautifully Foolish Endeavor! IDK if you did the Audio for Clap When You Land, but if you didn't I HIGHLY recommend. I love listening to books in verse, especially the ones with the author as the narrator, cuz then you get a better feel for the flow and cadence of the verses, and Elizabeth Acevedo's voice is FANTASTIC and beautiful! (I believe she's Yahairah, while there's another wonderful voice actor who is Camino) There's also a little interview/afterward type thing that she has after discussing the book and ethnicity and her relationship with the Dominican Republic and its just SO FREAKING INCREDIBLE! Sending you love
