Sure DIY is fun But I have 3 of them with showing Voltage Amps and Wattage for $10 from Ali And lots more with Micro-USB and USB-C and Bluetooth and already built in in a cable plug......
what? If you have a piece of proto board I'm sure you could scavenge a USB male and female port from somewhere meaning you have to spend $2 on the voltmeter. All the connections were made using legs of components like resistors and caps which an also be scavenged. 5 minutes dumpster diving and you could probably get all the pieces except the voltmeter if you were willing to do a little fabrication on a PCB meant for something else
