- Founded in September 2006 by Sangeetha Bhusanam R.Amaravathy with the aim of putting into practice her beliefs concerning the Indian Music & Dance. Rhythem Music's aim was -- then as now -- to offer, on the one hand, programmes of genuine quality to audiences, and, on the other, to true artists, a forum where their talents could be exhibited most effectively -- through proper organisation and aesthetic presentation.
As the world became a network of information sharing, Rhythem Music kept pace by creating a unique website, www.rhythemmusic.net. Started in 2006, this was one of the first on-line resources for the Indian classical Music & Dance. Thousands of interested readers, school students, artists and scholars have benefited from this site. It is perhaps the fisrt website to feature comprehensive lists of performers in in the discipline of Music & Dance with contact details. This allowed artists who could not create their own websites to reap the benefit of having a presence on the Internet.
Rhhythem Music began its activities with maiden launch of its fisrt Audio album on Carnatic Music by the eminent Violinist M.S.Gopalakrishna at NARADA GANA SABHA Chennai. The inaugural speech was followed by a Carnatic vocal and Veena concert.
Since its inception in 2006 Rhythem Music has released more than 70 Albums and has organised innumerable national festivals of classical arts. - Hudba
