Technically, they're not using their song lyrics to indict these dudes. The lyrics are just a tool to help get them convicted on those serious charges. Using them to make it look like they're monsters, and too dangerous to be let out in the streets.

I personally think the lyrics they picked for this indictment were weak ASL pun intended. there's a few aspects of this case that seem like overreach, that being one and Gunna getting held without bond.
