Venice is magical. My husband and I were there in 1986. The funny thing I remember is, when we were in Saint Mark Square & I ordered an ice cream cone & asked how much it was & The guy said standing or sitting ? I said what’s the difference. He said $.99 for standing & if you want to sit down it’s $11. I never forgot that I thought that was so funny. But I did love Venice.

@@mindunwind1 if you haven’t been to Venice before I know you will love it. But we went in September and while the weather was fine it was quite crowded. Maybe you could find out the best time to go when it has less tourists. I hope your trip will be magical. The memories will last for a lifetime. 😊
