- It's been one year, and I'm finally returning to one of my old glitchy Minecraft worlds. Today we're exploring a glitch that happens when you try and generate a world on a full USB stick, except this time you get to see how it was actually supposed to look the first time I did it!!

Something cool, in older versions of Minecraft bedrock/pe if you ran out of storage while loading a world it would forget all non built on chunks and revert the seed to seed 0, I did this years ago on a super flat world and it looks pretty sick

fun fact: corrupted chunks act as sort of portals between chunks, so if you were to have a chunk of a house on a corrupted chunk and have another corrupted chunk nearby, they will swap.

Great vid Squiddo! I got an idea! Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a void actively eating the world? Like you spawn at 0 0 but as you leave the area the void eats the chunks and gets closer to you. Your only choice would be to keep loading chunks or you fall to the void. There could even be anomalies, like the misplaced chunks in this video. Ideally it would be in hardcore just to make it more intimidating. The glitch would give vibes kind of like the glitch from “Learning with Pibby”, to make for a creepy uncanny feeling. It sounds cool, kinda like a storyline video! Thanks Squiddo for the great video and inspiration :D (btw love that you use the Draw To Life soundtrack)

Those "Void Chunks" are interesting. I encounter them pretty much constantly on servers, though it happens most often on Pixelmon servers interestingly.
the SOMETHING noise was actually amazing
in 1.14 I had a flat world and the chunkswap glitch made the world form a maze with walls that were a chunk large that went 20 or 30 blocks high with lower walls being stone and the top being dirt and grass.
I have a suggestion of mod I believe would interest you to explore.

Squiddo, there is indeed a modpack where theres a type of void that DOES eat the world! Its more built for speed runners tho tbh but i think you can change the speed of which it expands

I remember having a world like this; it was like the chunks were swept around. I was pretty sad because I had built a bee enclosure and all the bees were gone.

Whats happening is that the chunks are trying to load because it takes storage but since theres not much space left or there’s no space at all it fails to load chunks, textures and lighting creating either white, dark pits of nothingness or chunks that are in the wrong place. Hope this helped.

I met such glitches before on accident in an older version. Chunks would vanish, and the vanishing would spread. The area in the vanished chunks was dark, did not have collision with the player (but had it with mobs).

As a person who plays modded minecraft with a laptop not meant for it, the glitchynes is normal. The only thing I find weird is the raised chunks, and even then, it's not to weird to me.
Though I guess for people who has computers stolen from NASA it must be strange.

The experiment she did is something similar that happened through a network of worlds that my friend had with a lot of space to grow. It recently spread to another world that we sadly had to abandon due to an incident where it grabbed my said friend and killed him, and a recent block was found in another world that isn’t connected to the other worlds and he picked it up and “cleansed” it.
Let’s just say me and another member packed up our stuff and left to about, 1000 blocks away, because we both felt uneasy in the area, especially after I saw the void block

I feel like I had something similar to these glitches where bits were gone- When the Pandamonium update came, I spawned way too many Pandas (and bamboo) to the extent it was super laggy on my Nintendo Switch- To which there was a literal map split of 4 blocks of air going all the way down in the ground where there was just nothing, and I couldn't even move onto the missing earthquake shaped missing blocks area, because it literally stretched from one way to the other, and the only way over it was to fly over it very high up, at least 50 or 60 blocks high up, like a weird barrier but without any block toggle

The part where she actually falls off the world because of the void has actually happened to me. I was playing on my iPad and for whatever reason, it was the edge of the world (and I was in creative mode so I wouldn’t fall) and it was VERY weird 🤷🏻♂️

At 0:40, I remembered that on my primary school version of minecraft, the game would freeze up trying to load all of the worlds on the server, and every now and again, you'd encounter a P I T or two on a world. Strangely, one lunch, all the worldson the server were DELETED! There were probably over 1000+ worlds deleted from a server glitch. Thankfully, it was fixed, and all the worlds were restored. Strange how servers deal with thousands of minecraft worlds!

I’ve encountered a *pit* in modded Minecraft before, but it might have just been a chunk error because it healed itself.

this reminds me, i remember one time when i wus smaller (dont remember mc version) i had this superflat world where i wus building some stuff, and once i somehow got lost and couldnt find my builds. and out of nowhere, in the process of trying to find my builds, i encountered a wall about 30-50 blocks tall and when i flied on top of it, it appeared to be default generation land?! it seemed to extend into the distance but unfortunately i didnt explore it far, but it wus literally default world land in this random part of my superflat world! i dont know what caused it, but the world was deleted a long time ago, and ill probably never see something like that again.

The empty voided chunks vanishing, I’m totally used to, that happens on my realm all the time when we’re flying faster than chunks can load, especially when I played on my iPhone 6S. However those weird jutting up square chunks? Those are new. Those are awesome.

BTW Squiddo, the reason you can stand ontop of the non-loaded chunks instead of falling like in the *PiT* its because the chunks are loaded, but just the textures aren't, and the game trying to load a ton of textures (Basically everything you see) makes it laggy. Just some fun facts
