He doesn't sound GOOD. Be honest! I mean, sure, the man is 35 years older from the bands peak in the 80s, and naturally that affects his voice. But still, that is what it is and you shouldn't be awarded a "good" review simply by showing up and singing the song.
@@orproject87 Maybe, but neither of them have ever been truly great live performers. I mean, Jon Bon Jovi even in his prime, wasn't all that good live. Certain vocalists are damn good in recorded form, but simply do not really deliver live on stage.
Not really much of a fan of this band, but I do and have always very much liked this song (and Tomorrow also), but this version leaves me cold though, dude is clearly sick to death of singing it--- the clipped lines & comparatively abrupt delivery are always a giveaway with any singer----& the dropped key isn't helping much.

Yep, give him a break - none of us are the same as in the 80’es. I think Joey is in exceptionally good shape compared to the contemporaries..
