Honestly and in ALL honesty that is honourable... The RX8 is waaayyy more accessible than any other rotary powered vehicle and I think introducing it to the channel was a big PLUS!! I hope to see some amazing rx eight thingsies!! 🙌🤞🙏🙌
Give it 3 months. Every doorknob on facebook is gonna think they are worth 30k for clapped out examples
@@Louzahsol facts
@@Louzahsol yup, I don't buy cars/motorcycles often but a friend is in the market and it's hilarious right now how much people want for clapped out shitboxes with 100-200k+ miles lmao, let alone specific cars that become internet famous or flavor of the year.

And that RX8 has Sema-quality panel gap.
It's a little rich little rich 🤣🤣🤣
Can't wait for the RX-8 to be as pretty as Isaiah's haircut!
WE NEED A 3 ROTOR IN ISAIAH'S RX8
3 rotor renesis! with a paxton blower!

Amen
this!!
Or 2 proper ones

Give some more love to the RX-8! Let's get Isaiah into a monster!

If Rob got both rotaries running I wonder how much sleep he got in the past few weeks
probably none lol
Rob runs on keeps, greens powder, and meth
I mean, you can tell by the way he looks. It's kinda passing in the obsession land, hope it doesn't break him. If he's out of this, then the scammers and gatekeepers have nobody to call them out, even as politely as Rob does.

Isaiah has done so much for all of your cars. Cool to see him working on his own rotary now, can't wait to see the billet 3 rotor you're buying him.

Lol so it's a thing apparently
Rob...Isaiah is the genius fabricator making all your dreams come true. Give Him...anything he wants. We love you Isaiah...you're the voice of reason that's practically never wrong. You rock man.
Anything he wants Rob 😉
Thank you I needed this reassurance
couldnt have said it better.. one of the best man, literally
Lol...
Give Isaiah the ability to be an earner. Yeah he deserves anything he wants from you but being able to provide it for himself is priceless. I want to learn what he knows and a welding channel can provide that. He's already doing the work why not profit twice.
It's kinda hilarious that of the like, 10 actually running and driving and road-legal vehicles at SEMA 2 are yours 🤣
Edit: I hate to say it but the vette sounds marbles in a soup can 😂
Agree about the soup can exhaust. First time i was like "oof wtf is this". Little later in the vid he mentions the exhaust rattling 'a little bit'. Well no shit Sherlock
Edit: oh shit, a like from rob? /*Happy noises*

We will resonate and fix that haha

100% man. More RX8 content!
The popping fiberglass back into shape is the reason my dad told me to buy a Saturn as my first car. And now I miss that slow old thing.
The car not my dad.
someday rob will learn about the joys of heat exchanger ducting… there are significant aerodynamic improvements made with a properly ducted cooling setup (not to mention the improved cooling).

If so, that’s bound to happen, either both need solid mounts or both need to have some give
100% here for the RX8 build whenever it comes
Rob, more Rx8 continent please. We humble working class people can’t afford vetts and Rx7’s. The Rx8 is truly attainable by all.
I follow from Thailand fun idol content
Idea: instead of a 3 rotor for the Rx-8, fix the Renesis as you did the REs and thereby reaching out to the Rx-8 crowd as well as all other Mazda rotaries. Just a thought
For some reason it makes me happier to see the RX8 doing this journey.
Im guessing its because i myself am financially not capable of buying an rx7 (or rotary swap a corvette).
I still hope i can join the rotary family soon be it an RX8 or something even more spicy.
Gotta say tho the vette looks nice and im happy you could get it to SEMA by itself.
You could get lucky and piece together an fc or fb. Got mine for 1500 na fc vert, crashed it and now it's becoming a na gtu
@@cumbob I live in germany which makes it more difficult to get them for really cheap and also at the moment with the used car market being quite expensive its not really much of an option.
Rob's definition of smooth: "I made it here."
Also rob, "the trip was uneventful, it only caught fire 7 times"
I mean he did bust his motor mounts so...
it made it, that in it's self is an achievement so i'd count it as smooth lol.

It's nice with the parallel assembly of both the cars going back and forth. One worrying about tiny gaps and self tapping screws, the other bashing and tow strap mashing the car into somewhere in the ballpark of actually looking like a car 😂
Congrats Rob. Loving the backyard bodyshop fixes for the RX8
Fabrication Father is a CARpenter too, who knew? 😂
Other then the engine almost falling out it went great. probably the easiest trip for dahm ever
Rob for god's sake 😂😂 give that Man a 3 rotor that's the only way to fix a RX-8
An RX-8 needs either a built REW swap running 600+HP, or a NA/Turbo 3 rotor 😂
I'm definitely going the REW swap myself.. 3 rotors are so goddamn expensive lmfao
I like that for us rotary nuts "it starts after filling it at the gas station" is the standard for ROTARY RELIABILITY 😂😂😂😂
It for sure is a high stress situation
Just don't ask which station
Yay for backyard frame straightening! I used a tree to fix a bent Camero. It was a suggestion by my shop teacher at the time.
Bought a 1999 f350 from the tow yard I worked for (1200 bucks for a 12k truck lol) bumper was completely fucked. Backed my tow truck up to it, hooked up to the hook and yanked it out. Boom, new looking bumper lol
I keep staring at the FC in the back, such a beautiful car. Hope Rob talks about it at some point
I've not been able to stop staring at that 10AE
Dude I noticed too, you and I noticed
Meeee tooo… I couldn’t stop looking at the white FC
Check out the new vid my dude ❤️
ROB!!! We love the rx8 we need more content on it!!
As an RX-8 owner seeing the 8 get some love on this channel makes me happy would def love to see a 3 rotor swap but the 8 is more down to earth and relatable the way it is now. Also that overflow tank is sick I’d love to buy one for my RX8
Ik I have a eight too and I love seeing content anything rlly wether it be jdm or whatnot bc there rlly is not that much content on it
For how well Isaiah lays down welds, he deserves all the love in the world.
I’m so happy you made it! I wish I could’ve gone this Friday to meet you and thank you for your inspiring videos! You’re my favorite person on the internet! Keep on Wankel-ing towards stronger rotaries!

Now please 3 rotor swap it 😳😳😳
Can't wait to see what is in store for the FC!
"completely smooth, I only brake the motor mounts, other than that it runs completely smooth"😂😂
Rob: carefully considers to align all the panels
Isaiah: stands on the core support to bend it down 🤪😁
I like how you casually show the rx7 FC like that, i should have expected it. Happy to say that I didnt. Excited for whats to come.
Finally acknowledged the beautiful FC in the background of the last few videos. Can't wait to see what's in store.
Well done! The pingy exhaust makes the corvette sounds like a moped on low rpm though!

@@ayuzawamisaki5056 aw sick mad one
I would love to see more Rx8 content!👏🏻
Isaiah needs a slappin' 3 rotor build in that RX8, lets see it get some more love
The RX8 is actually a really interesting build. I don't feel the chassis got any love when it was around due to the lack of power and more weight than the RX7. No one else is doing it so good on you guys for the bringing the rotary back into the light.
Isaiah 'Fabrication Father' needs to see some RX-8 love on this channel :)

Your boy did all the front end work and couldn’t take a heat gun to the rear bumper!!!! 🤦🏻♂️ awesome they’re both running and you’re doing it on your own! 👍🏼
The RX8 gives another dimension to start with rotaries, a great addition to the channel! Loving the content and the level of that project compared to the other (awesome on another level!) really technical porn about RX7. Keep building it, step by step, and keep us in the loop. Would love to see it as a budget project start like it is now and build it step by step.
Great content guys!
Seeing (and Hearing) the corvette pull out of the shop gave me goosebumps, congrats to y'all your work is sick!
It's very impressive the channel and garage you've built in a relatively short period of time. I still remember when you posted that video of your beat-up 3-rotor blasting spectators off of walls when you launched at the track. I'm putting in my vote for the RX8 because it's a genuinely good chassis and is very attainable to most people that are willing to do a lot of the work themselves.
Rob you're lookin good dude. It's good to see you're taking care of yourself and i like the new glasses! your enthusiasm & success is infectious man
So awesome to see the projects getting finished completely, especially the RX8. That car really transformed
Another awesome vid Rob.... Ive been seing that white TII in the background for a while now and I can't wait to see what you guys have in store for it.....FYI a initial D FC build
Would be wicked
The bumper "clam shell" you called it on the corvette Is normal on most new cars and most sports cars. Like Mercedes, mustangs, BMWs, so on so forth
The hard core 'Merica' Chevy guys are gonna want to fight you for doing this lol
Don't get me wrong I LOVE the rotary Corvette..but I grew up around RX-8s and Im so pumped to see one on THE rotary channel
I’d love to see the rx8 get a three rotor!
Loved the content on just the stock motor rebuild
rob: see how precise that bumper-hood gap line..its art
issiah: fuck that hood gap
Rob, You are doing good and reaching wide audiences. Drove by my neighbor one street down and his kid was working on his blue rx-8. Went to get some adult beverages and on the way back thought I would cruise by and recommend your channel since you guys have just brought a Rx-8 back from the brink of death. Cruised up, rolled down window, said to the kid "hey if you guys need any help on the rx-8, this guy on youtube named Rob Dahm, works on rotories and they just restored an rx-8 headed for a junkyard". Kid says, yup, I watch him religiously. I think he will be alright :)
Isiah Needs a (Three Rotor) Rob!! Show him some love.
Cant wait to see it at SEMA! also good luck finding Ethanol or E85 in vegas. i struggle to and that is my only reason for not switching yet.
I'm loving the rx8, I'd love to see some more tuning and mods on it, I love the aesthetic on it
So glad to see the RX-8 getting some love on the channel. Currently looking for the right one for myself to rebuild and daily.
Love and support to the RX8 🙌
LOVE the RX8 content, would love to see you guys put a proper rotary in it ;)
I loving the rx8. Maybe the future try something wild like a procharger. I would like to have seen bridge port when you rebuilt it
Entered a car show with my '92 Supra with the 1G-GTE back in 2013. There was a MK4 Supra with a supercharged 2J there that sounded amazing! Would love to see a procharged rotary!
this is a massive check point. love seeing your growth and energy. cant wait to see rx8 progress, the most shunned of its RXs
That’s the most accurate chassis pulling jig I’ve ever seen.
The RX8 was my dream car back in the day, but that dream died, as it did for many others like me. :( Please build us the RX8 that Mazda should have. Please, Please, Please!
REW-swap the rx8 and make a build series of it! 💪

Hey Rob, just wanna say, you're an inspiration and you got some mad respect. Love your work and your dedication to your passion. Not gonna lie you part of the reason why I've been getting parts to build my own vw 12v vr6. I'm shooting for 365hp and 380tq N/A.
Hey Rob, Isaiah wants the short shaft - you really should give it to him...
Department of Transportation is responsible for damages caused by rough road conditions. They have a form you can fill out to get reimbursed. Usually it's for rim or window damage but it will force them to not only reimburse you but also fix that gap in the highway. Please make Isaiah start a channel. Welding is not easy and he is a wizard that should spread his knowledge.
Keep up the rx8 content all rotary content is welcome
